There is a nice restaurant with a view called Mosmo right beside the property that was really amazing to have a meal at. The staff was so helpful to all of our needs it was an amazing stay!

The Grande Murano was selected as a reasonable priced centrally located hotel as near to the top of the caldera as possible, on the main road. In reality I found a Diamond. Friendly staff from your first contact with the office. Helpful and committed to offering you a wonderful holiday stay. Osmo, the next door restaurant offers an amazing dining experience. The menu is fabulous but the eating is amazing, chicken , pork, beef or the calamari and not forgetting the amazing crepes for breakfast. Honest to goodness home-cooking at a very reasonable price, go on indulge yourself. The hotel offered great views to the east, dropping away as it does towards the east coast. The pool was small, nestled between the 2 sides of the hotel, but it was deceptive and mightily refreshing, feet beneath the main road. Centrally located between the 2 squares the hotel offered ease of access to all Fira has to offer, only a small downhill walk to the mostly pedestrianised square and bus station. The square is flanked by shops but mostly bars and eateries most are more than reasonably affordable . Not too far from the Caldera walkways and queues to the cable car. The room was a comfortable size for what we wanted, twin room with a shower and a pool. We were literally 1M from the pool and slept well in the comfy beds. A wonderful hotel offering great rewards for my search for a competitively priced hotel, to match the views offered in the onsite Osmo restaurant. Lovely honest people place.

The location was perfect and located near the thira shopping mall area. The service was okay, the guy was never at the desk even though the location stated 24/7 desk service. The gentleman at the desk was not professional at all. We asked for early check in because we arrived hours before our room would be ready. He said we could keep our bags in the lobby until yhen but yet we waited at the hotel forever intil he arrived. Daily we would see one lady vleaning which easnt a big deal but our trash was never emotied until day 3 and we started to clean our trash and rubbish to set it up whe she would come by. The last day was upsetting because we almost msised our ferry to leave santorini. The cleaning lady spoke jo english and called the guy at the front desk because I went to her to ask for assistance. We spoke with him TWICE and he confirmed 10am the day we leave to take us to the port in santorini. Its 1020am and the guy was still not at the hotel and we are waiting with a griuo of people to get a shuttle ride to the port. The guy said in the last call, "yeah yeah 10am when do you want me to get you...? We said now today like 20mins ago and the guy said okay". Instead of waiting to miss our ferry we found a taxi & for to our ferry but don't stay here unless you want bad service. The room we had was under stairs & we heard everyone coming into their rooms at 2/3am & there's no peace here. Other than that walking distance to majority of the town and a nice 15min drive ti Oia.

Dishonest Hotel
I booked this hotel when my girlfriend and I got stranded due to a delayed flight. We arrived at the Hotel and no receptionist was available. We called and they said there is no reason we should have been able to book as they are completely full and that's all there is nothing they can do. They refused to refund the money and never assisted us in anyway.

Cockroaches in bathroom
Our stay was awful. We found huge cockroaches in the bathroom and thus had to find a new room in the middle of the night. The room also had dirty towels, the shower didnt work with the water changing pressure and temperature constantly. Furthermore, the beds were hard and uncomfortable and broken in a few spots.

The hotel has a great location, close to Fira main plaza, ad the centarl bus station. The one thing that could be improve is the availability of staff, as there is someone on reception only on limited time and is hard to get in contact with someone if something is needed.

Beautiful view on a beautiful island
Awesome that they offer easy pick up from super busy port of santorini. Location is very walkable and close to shops in the main area. Loved our ocean view terrace and surprise dip pool. A safe in room would have been nice.

Ok for a couple of nights...
Alright so here’s my take on Grande Murano. Some of the reviews were just awful and I don’t think that’s fair however I’m not hard to please and this hotel definitely didnt live up to its standards. Here’s why: 1. My first day things went missing from my room. I had purchased some CBD from the market across the street and left it on the bedside table only to come back to find it gone. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that it was thrown out by accident but housekeepers shouldn’t be touching what isn’t theirs. 2. This hotel claims to have AC but it definitely does not, the room was so incredibly hot and humid. I had to sleep with the window open every night which led to tons of mosquito bites and a small lizard making its way into my room. 3. The fridge didn’t work. 4. The TV was pathetic - the size of an iPad and it was mounted so high on the wall that you couldn’t see it properly, 5. The beds are AWFUL. Incredibly old, hard and uncomfortable. 6. The room had a rank smell of fish. Especially in the bathroom. The positives. 1. The pool is fantastic! 2. The view is beautiful - be sure to catch the sunrise. 3. The location is perfect 4. The front desk staff and transport staff are very nice! To sum it up - this hotel isn’t terrible but I probably wouldn’t stay again if I had the choice.

Be careful with some additional charges
This hotel is clean but not as comfortable as I expect. The room was furnished simply and basically. The shower was a hand held spray next to the toilet. Taking a shower was awful. Pretty noisy from all kinds of sources The hotel was not as good as pictured. One thing I like to remind that you should carefully check the charges to your credit card before you sign it. I paid this hotel in Euro using my credit card when I checked in at the hotel. Later on I noticed that I was charged an additional fee of ~4% of the amount confirmed by Hotels.com. I asked about this charge, and I was told this is a fee that their bank will charge them due to the conversion of USD to Euro, which is clearly not true, because I paid them in Euro. I got refund of this charge though.

Hotel is in GREAT location. Market literally across the street. Great options for food all around. Only about a 5 minute downhill walk into town/bars. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the main bus station! Very easy to get around from the hotel. Staff was helpful with lots of suggestions for activities. Hotel has transport was €30 for 3 people from/to the ferry.

We had multiple issues with this hotel. 1. Three out of 4 beds were covered with hairs. It was awful and we could not even request new sheets because staff/management was closed at 7pm. We had to sleep wearing clothes the first night. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE!!! 2. Conner shaped shower curtain rod fell off in the bathroom and almost hit one of my friend's face. Repair person came in next day but did not fix the issue. He added wire in the middle of the rod (which was not even an issue) instead of attaching the rod from both sides to the walls. 3. We purchased a room with a "See view" as advertised on pictures. Our room was on the lower floor (first floor) and all we could see out of our tiny window is a buildings :( This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life!!! I have pictures off all issues if further details are needed. Please advise how are you going to address this. Thank you in advance, Elena

Where do you begin Advert states the following: Free Wifi - pretty much the only good thing about this hotel Free parking - didn’t have a car but couldn’t see any parking available Out door pool- there is a small pool area, however half of the pool tile have fallen off Room service - nothing mentioned about this on check in or in the rooms Airport shuttle - is at an additional cost of €13 each not €10 or free as states else where in the advert Terrace - yes most rooms had their own terrace Air conditioning - yes very noisey though Daily house keeping -yes Luggage storage - not needed so don’t know Limited hours on front desk - correct hours not stated anywhere was closed from 12.30 one day Tours and tickets -yes Toiletries in rooms - no Sun loungers - there are 5 Sun umbrella - is a tree The rooms and especially the bathroom did not feel clean No rubbish bin in the main room just bathroom The fridge was unplugged when we arrived

They misadvertised to have an 82 sq m suite bedroom which I booked but in fact, they only have 22 sq m bedrooms. Owner said they did not put 82 sq m ad.. so, who did? How come it was their most expensive bedroom? Also, they put that the room includes toiletries but none at all. Thirdly, they put its location under Fira but it is located at least 500 meters from Fira.

Lovely room super cleaned housekeeping came everyday with fresh towel and fluffed the bed. 2 shower heads brilliant! Wet room bathroom so showered with curtains opened as otherwise it feels crammed. Balcony with ashtray 2 chairs and 2 sun lounger. Jet tub was great to cool down in. Gorgeous pool downstairs shame there’s no toilet you have to go to your room if needed. Close to town. Corner shop opposite and several places to eat. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. 4 pillows. I like soft beds but I slept fine on the hard mattress. Great value for money.

Outside is very cute. Good location, grocery store right across the street to get snacks and such. Would only recommend if you plan on being out all day, just to sleep. It’s extremely basic, It’s really just okay. It’s clean ish? It is clean, house keeping comes by, but I don’t know something about it is not clean? Blankets had other people’s hair and staining etc. No toilettes were provided. Shuttle van is pretty grimy. Staff was very nice. I believe I over paid by a day also

Great place with an amazing view and conveniently located! There are different types of rooms of which some have a better view than others. We were lucky to stay on the top floor with an incredible sunrise view. Beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom very modern. Overall a lovely room and perfectly clean. Guests just need to be aware that reception isn't open 24/7, so it's best to arrange a check-in/ check-out time in advance. The hosts can be contacted via phone at any time. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Not worth the price
Good Points: 1. Pickup was on time. 2. Good view point(Firostephani) nearby. Bad Points: 1. Nobody at reception from 7pm to 9am. If someone faces problem in night, then nowhere to go. 2. Receptionist is very casual at getting late in the morning. She needed to give all the information about sight seeing, but she came late. 3. No drininking water provided. 4. No bathing accessories like soap, shampoo etc. 5. Room floor is sticky to walk. 6. Bathroom seems to be old. Toilet is not proper. 7. Bed was not comfortable to sleep. I had back pain in the morning.

Was transferred to another hotel when we reached to check in, they claimed that they did inform me but couldn't reach me. I did not receive any emails nor messages from them except replies regarding provision of hotel transfers. The hotel we got transferred to was far and inaccessible from town, the quality and cleanliness was terrible.

Pretty bad experience
I was promised to be picked up from the airport, I let them know my flight number and told them my flight was 30mins delayed and they never came. After waiting 40mins for them I got a taxi and got to reception and found out it was closed. They won’t answering the phone or emails and thought I would have to sleep on the streets. I manage to get a local to track them down. Once I got in the room it was extremely noisy, uncomfortable bed and barely a shower. The light flashed on and off randomly during the night and wifi did not work. I ended up staying somewhere else for the last two nights of my trip and wasn’t allowed a refund.

dear Guest your flight delayed for a few hours and the driver could not wait so .. there were other clients for shuttles .. when you arrived at the hotel at that time (late at night) someone was there for you and you checked in immediately (you know that). after 2 days you came to the reception and asked for the canceled for the last 2 days and the refund of the money (the reason: your family had a reservation at another hotel and you wanted to stay together) this was not possible. that's why you said you'd take care to make a very bad comment. and you did that. thank you

I booked this hotel last minute as I missed my ferry and had to unexpectedly stay a night in Fira. Granted I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, but for $75cdn, it was extremely basic. On a noisy street, bed was horribley uncomfortable, bathroom was dirty and couldn’t open the drapes or the window be of a flourescent hallway light right outside my door.

This was an incredible experience! Katerina is AMAZING! She was very helpful and has a wonderful personality! She helped us find tours that we were interested in as well as great food recommendations! The area of the hotel we great! Only a 5 minute walk from tons of food and shopping in Fira! The room was so clean and very nicely decorated! Over all, I cannot wait to come back and stay here again!
