Lovely hotel but a few issues
With had a room with private pool which was lovely. The room was a good size and had a lounge area which was also spacious, as was the patio. The staff were all delightful and always extremely helpful and did try to resolve issues when we pointed them out. Breakfast is a buffet and there was a huge choice which they kept well stocked and refilled quite quickly. The communal pool is lovely but seemed to hardly be used which was great for me. I also had a treatment at the spa which was expensive but very good. The beach is perfect with plenty of comfy beds, shade, and calm seas – it’s the best bit in the hotel. So why 4 and not 5 out of 5? I don’t expect to find black mold in the shower of a hotel of this standard. They cleaned it away but it should never have been there. Scuffed paintwork. Some instances of style over practicality – not enough places to hang towels where the hand basins are. Nowhere to dry wet beach towels. Light bulbs not working. Housekeeping or senior staff really need to regularly inspect for things like that. Would we stay there again? We would because of the location and beach, and because Patmos is charming.

Excellent Luxury Resort For A Great Price
This was the best place we stayed in all of our tour of Greece! Luxurious accommodations for an exceptional price. Every detail was thought through and well taken care of. Beautiful resort grounds. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a luxury resort. The pillows and comforter large and fluffy. The sheets very soft. The bathroom was large and well stocked with everything needed including 4 very large bath towels and 2 robes. The waterfall shower was wonderful. The staff was kind and showed excellent service. The restaurants have delicious food and wine as well as friendly service. The breakfast was freshly made with a delightful spread of many choices. Its located right on the beach, private with gorgeous views. Not too far from to the port. We loved the nice touch of the welcome letter with a tray of desserts and bottle of wine. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Gorgeous views in a peaceful setting
Lovely setting on a quiet gorgeous bay on Patmos island. A short taxi ride from the city but worth it. The suites look out upon the bay and offer fabulous views. Truly lovely place.

Love that the hotel was by the waters. Lovely to swim in and had nice sun beds. Wait staffs at the beach were helpful. Nice restaurants just beside the hotel and a bus stop at its main entrance for quick ride to Skala port and Hora, for times when getting a taxi was an issue. We had a duplex with a private pool. Spatially it was lovely but the bathroom interior was quite tired with worn out tiles and timber floorboards in the shower area. The bathroom was not well vented thus reeked a bad odour. While in our suite, we spent most of our time at the private deck and pool area but sadly there were many big ants crawling that marred the experience slightly. Breakfast spread was meagre for a 5 star establishment. Staffs at front desk were not as friendly or welcoming which is unfortunate as they are the first people you greet on arrival hence we did not start with a good first impression on arrival. Overall it was a nice and memorable stay for its location and setting but not the best we have had for value, quality and service.

The location is superb, straight onto Grikos Bay beach. The room was spacious and well equipped. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We are already planning our next trip back

Absolutely adored this hotel. We booked a suite with a private pool which I would highly recommend although it was often a struggle to decide whether to head to the hotel's beach or stay at our pool (a nice struggle to have!). The room was gorgeous and felt high quality, everything at the hotel did. The beach service was also amazing, the beach beds are so comfy and the staff are happy to help in rearranging if needed, the free water and mini cocktails throughout the day was also a nice touch. The hotel restaurants are very good as well plus there are two other local restaurants 2 mins away so there was enough choice for the stay. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Magical summer trip to Patmos
Luxury hotel at one of the most scenic bays on the island of Patmos. Direct access to a wonderful beach with crystal clear waters. Wonderful tavernas within walking distance as well as to the holly Kalikatsou rock and Petra beach. The hotel is simply amazing. One of the best breakfast selections I have even seen. The quality of everything was exceptional as the owner is a well-established businessman and owner of top hotels in Kos with huge attention to detail and costumer satisfaction. Highly recommended. I would definitely visit again. If have the opportunity visit the sister hotel Kos Aktis - pure paradise.

A beautiful hotel at Grikos Bay
My boyfriend and I visited mid July and stayed at the hotel for 5 days. The location was great- Grikos beach is right at the hotel. There are restaurants nearby and there is a bus that takes you to Skala if you don't have a car that is a few steps away from the hotel. The restaurant next door is amazing- one of my favourite parts of the trip was having ouzo and fish on the tables on the sand right next to the bay. The rooms with the private pools are exceptional and I highly recommend. The only thing that put a damper on our stay was the male manager at the front desk- he was quite rude to us when were checking in. The other workers at the front desk were extremely helpful and pleasant.

Beautiful setting- right on the beach. Superb decor, excellent condition and very clean. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities and award winning restaurant. Great hotel to unwind and relax.

Fantastic hotel on the island of Patmos
My friend and I wisely chose the Patmos Aktis Suites Spa for our stay on the island of Patmos. Our two bedroom suite with every amenity imaginable including a private swimming pool was incredible. The staff was friendly and helpful. The full moon dinner at the Apocalypsis Restaurant was a culinary treat where the food was artful, imaginative and delicious. The morning breakfast buffet was also excellent (yogurt & honey memorable). We really enjoyed the Spa where we had the Steam/Moroccan Mud treatment. Overall, a fabulous place to stay.

Great hotel on the beach, very peaceful
Excellent staff, from reception to housekeeping, very friendly, warm & caring. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was exceptional! If you want to get away, relax and have number one service, this is the place to go! Our room opened up to the pool right at our doorstep with our own sun lounges.

Unser Aufenthalt war toll. Das Patmos Aktis versteht sich sehr gut auf großartigen Service. Das Maisonette Zimmer mit privatem Pool war mehr als erhofft - der eigene Pool war wirklich überraschend groß und tief genüg, sodass man richtig darin schwimmen konnte. Und auch der Strand war toll. Man hatte so nur täglich die schwierige Frage sich zu beantworten: Privat Pool oder Beach? Und auch das Frühstück war hervorragend. Das Buffet war sehr umfangreich. Es gibt auch eine live cooking Station für Eierspeisen. Der Kaffee wird auf Bestellung gebracht und kommt damit nicht nur aus einem Vollautomaten. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Auch sehr praktisch: vor der Einfahrt zum Hotel hält der Öffentliche Bus, der nach Skala, Chora und Kampos fährt. Man kann somit auch entspannt auf einen Mietwagen verzichten.

Disappointing for a 5 star hotel
We had a nice stay at Patmos aktis. The beach was great, but really understaffed. The breakfast was great also. The rooms were spacious. However, we had an extra child bed in our room and the second night we saw that there were ants in it. We called the reception, room cleaning didn’t come until the next day. And the next night and the night after that we had the same ant problem. The management didn’t call to check if the problem was fixed, or came up with another solution. We weren’t able to use the bed at all during our stay. It was very disappointing for a 5 star hotel. It is a really nice hotel with great facilities, however management is not 5 star.

Hôtel très décevant et pas du tout au niveau du standing affiché, il ne s’agit pas d’un 5 étoiles mais tout au plus d’1 établissement 3 étoiles. Accueil froid et se limitant au strict minimum. Lors du check-in 1 feuille vois est donné afin d’y noter votre numéro de passeport, aucune explication supplémentaire donné sur le fonctionnement de l’hôtel. Durant mon séjour de 3 nuits le personnel croisé ne prend jamais la peine de saluer les clients. Chambres très marquée par le temps et visiblement pas entretenues. Petit déjeuner quantitatif mais avec des produits peu qualitatifs. Bref au regard des prix pratiqués, à éviter !
