"First impression of hotel was the filthy fish tank in the foyer? Room clean, no A/C but big fan provided in room which with high temperatures was welcome but too noisy for sleeping. Breakfast was nice, fresh and plentiful, breakfast staff (all local girls) were attentive and always busy replenishing and cleaning tables👏 ( tip: Wetherspoons as is Empire Theatre are literally a few yards from the hotel - just saying). Parking next door was easy plenty of space."

"We were staying with a toddler for 6 nights. We had a king-size bed with sofa bed. The room was huge! Plenty of space for our little on to play and also put up a travel cot. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The dressing gowns were a nice touch, though we didn't need them. The breakfasts were lovely. I would recommend the porridge, it was delicious! There was the usual selection of cereal, fruit, breads and pastry, along with hot breakfast. My husband needed GF bread and they accommodated him. Staff were outstanding, Emil was so friendly and welcoming to our toddler. He even remembered her name which was lovely. A female member of staff (didn't get her name) kindly remembered that my toddler liked her apple peeled and she did this every morning for us. The staff also kindly kept our ice packs in the freezer. Location is fab, a few minutes walk from Lime Street Station and Liverpool Central. There's also bus stops right outside the hotel. Great for those needing piblic transport. Could not fault this hotel and would definitely return."

"In the main, the hotel is well situated and is well laid out with most areas in great condition. Some carpets showed some small marks but most of building was fine. Bed was comfortable and was service by housekeeping each day of our 3 night /4 day stay. Breakfast each morning was our only meal in the restaurant , only because we arranged to eat out each night Breakfast was pretty good and food was of a good quality and was hot , even though it was a “buffet” style. Selection of breads , croissants and muffins with option of pancakes (from a machine, which were pretty good ) Selection of juices, milk and water as well as teas and coffees. Big plus for us was getting to the hotel almost 3 hours prior to check-in time , but, allowed to get our room straight away , which was good as we had been travelling for a few hours to get there ."

"Propreté moyenne (nourriture par terre sur le tapis)… Mais surtout, il n’y a pas eu d’eau durant 2 heures! On ne pouvait pas se laver ou se brosser les dents mais surtout on ne pouvait pas aller au toilettes! Par contre, appartement très bien équipé et surtout bien équipé!"
