“It’s a fairly new hotel with excellent location by the waterfront. Buffet breakfast has plenty varieties. Carpark is just a short walk to the hotel. The area is safe and clean. Very enjoyable with easy access to everything.”

“Had a fantastic night’s stay at The Halyard - wish I had been there for longer! Check in was quick and easy and I was able to get into the room on the 6th floor early. The room was spacious and very comfortable with plenty of hangers and drawer space to unpack. Complimentary drinks in the mini bar were much appreciated. It was quiet and there was no disturbance from other rooms or outside. Lovely smelling toiletries and the corridors event smelled nice - little details that make a stay feel more……

“Rooms were spacious and the staff were kind, but the hotel feels run-down and less than clean. My room was in the basement which only have half windows. The carpets have an odor, housekeeping missed trash removal, the rooms are not well lit and the room itself was very basic. Overall, not the level of Hyatt quality I expected for the price. ”

“We were put in the back 40 of rooms because we have a dog. But, honestly, we had a super large room, it was quiet and we slept peacefully. Last visit we stayed on the 3rd floor and that wasn’t good. Staff was friendly and this hotel is in a perfect location! We’d stay again. ”
