Fantastic location
Perfect location. Easy check-in, reasonably priced secure parking onsite and friendly, helpful staff with good English if you’re French is great.

Nice Hotel - Great Location
Road at the front, Quayside at the back and a secure car-park attached. The room was on the small side but spotless and very attractively decorated in red and white, with a small balcony and a superb view over the quay / marina. The only niggle was the 16:30 check-in time, which is inordinately late.

Lovely mini holiday, just 15km from home!
Brilliant location, friendly, helpful reception staff. Not the largest room but so happy to find a Twin Bed room option, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, quality bed linen, seems to be newly fitted bathroom, a small fridge was a bonus and the air conditioning a joyful respite in this recent heatwave. Breakfast had a good selection at a reasonable price (whilst having a GF Cereal option, sadly there was no GF Bread or even Madeleine options on offer.) The Hotel is in a great location, it was nice to have breakfast outside overlooking the port. There is a Cfe/bar and Restaurants also available.

Love the place, but they have problems with electricity - We had to change rooms and wi-fi (This year wi-fi was better than last). Staff very helpful. Great position.

Pros and cons
There isn't room here to say everything. In simple terms, there is a lot that is smart about this hotel and is OK for a stopover or short stay. There are also some "idiosyncrasies". The main downside is that there was little space to open a suitcase. There are also some customer relations issues that leave you a little "cold". A fuller comment is by GreyTraveller69 on a well-known review site.

Nous vous remercions pour votre commentaire très étoffé. Quelques points à éclaircir. - Vous avez réservé avec un site internet où il est bien différencié les chambres avec ou sans balcons. Si cela avait une si grande importance pour vous une simple demande au check-in aurait suffit a accéder à votre souhait. Nous n'avons aucunes traces d'éventuels mail reçu sur notre boîte mail. Peut-être le site réserveur ne nous a pas transmis vos demandes. - Vous avez bien fait de nous signaler qu'il manquait un cintre dans votre placard. Comme vous nous avez dit que vous n'en aviez pas besoin nous n'avons pas voulu vous déranger et nous l'avons remplacer après votre départ. Il n'est en aucun cas question d'économies. - Le ménage est effectué tous les jours par nos femmes de chambres sauf pour les clients qui nous en font la demande, peut-être n'avez-vous pas bien compris l'affiche explicative. - Par ailleurs, les chiens sont acceptés dans notre établissement, nous ne sommes toutefois pas responsable de la relation entre un chien et son maître. A bientôt à Port-Beach.

Absolutely inacceptable! They charged for bicycle parking! It shows such inexplicable contempt both of cycling as a sport and of the environment, to treat someone traveling in an ecological way like someone travelling by car I can only ask any cyclist not to use this hotel, to show solidarity the to other cyclists. In over ten years of cycle touring (I do about 15'000km per year) and mostly staying in hotels, this has never happened before. And as a cycling community we have to make sure, this will not become a habit for hotels. It doesn't matter if the sum isn't huge - it's the contempt shown by this fee which goes against any principle of hospitality and sustainability. Apart from that the hotel isn't anything special, damp oldish rooms, if anything overpriced. Slow wifi.

Nous facturons effectivement 2€ pour que votre vélo soit rangé en toute sécurité dans notre parking fermé et sous vidéo-surveillance. Cette prestation et son prix sont affichés sur notre site en toute transparence. Rien ne vous empêchait de laisser vos vélos dans la rue à vos risques et périls.

ALMOST PERFECT
Everything about this place is good - almost - one of the receptionists spent most of her shifts on her mobile phone so not really interested in talking / helping guest - she even got our bill wrong - doing it as she chatted away - a manager saved the day. Shame as everything else was so good - and a wonderful view from the balcony.

A reasonably priced hotel in the manina at Gruissan, close to the beach, castle and restaurants. Secure parking and a great buffet breakfast.

Once you add costs up it was a bit overpriced. Nicely located at the inner marina with several restaurants right on the doorstep. Beach not far away but you need the car.

Mar 2015 Gruissan, Hotel Beach Port, can improve
OK, it is the off season and all businesses are getting ready for the coming season. It is a seaside hotel and they were in the middle of redecorating the place, so there was a smell of paint. The bar or the dining room were not open in the evening. Very few local amenities at this time of the year. There were a couple of restaurants in the area, one was very disappointing, the animal the meat came from must have dies of dehydration adn old age and the other was pleasant and the food was good. Back to the hotel I would give it a low 3 star rating at present, but when they open for properly for the season I sure this rating will improve.

Gruissan good location
Good points: Hotel has a good size swimming pool, location was within walking distance of lots of very good restaurants, breakfast was ample with good selection on offer. Not-so-good: we were charged 8 Euro for breakfast, most other places charge 5/6. Reception staff not always available or approachable or helpful. No shower curtains.

Personnel très aimable, courtois, poli, souriant. Tout le monde a été très sympathique, de l'accueil, aux services. Chambre très propre, grande, confortable.
