Excellent, staff all very helpful, food good (restaurants delightfully expensive) facilities like the spa getting tired and needs upgrading. Not a walking holiday, taxi required everywhere outside the hotel.

The hotel is an amazing building itself. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They are always prompt to help at any time. The room was well cleaned and the service was excellent. We had a balcony in our room that had a garden view and we sat down every night to look at the stars. The breakfast options were vast, even for me who is coeliac. They were very helpful in providing anything that I had requested and I was super impressed as being a gluten free you always are on downside of options, but this was not the case there. There are plenty of restaurants options and the staff from Verona (Italian restaurant) mainly Francisco was amazing. I cannot say enough how he made us feel special on our dinners there. We have celebrated our wedding anniversary and my husband birthday and the staff were very thoughtful about it . The beach that it is by the hotel was amazing with a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our time at The Ritz Carlton in Tenerife and we will definitely be back soon.

Love the place, although I would recommend hiring a car. The property was lovely and its surrounding. It could use better signage to area’s of the hotel as you can get easily lost, but the staff were friendly and amazing.

Beautiful serene location on a cliff away from main tourist areas with secluded beach (we used the wonderful stony steps to get up and down - great exercise). Highly attentive staff and great food options. Verde Mar restaurant particularly good with sustainable options. We had anniversary and birthdays to celebrate and experienced several beautiful surprise patisserie creations in our room.

We have returned to the Abama to celebrate our anniversary. We have had a wonderful stay and have received nothing but exceptional service in all departments. A special mention to Fran and Isabelle who recovered my husband’s luggage with his medication as the wrong case was off loaded. Sorted out clothes for him and collected the case on our behalf from the airport. On our arrival cava and a sumptuous cake awaited us in our room. We had a lovely meal at the El Mirador on our anniversary with a personalised desert . I can’t thank the staff enough for a very memorable evening. We stayed in the adults only retreat which I can highly recommend,peaceful attentive pool staff who repositioned the parasol throughout the day and served drinks. The retreat facilities were lovely as were all the staff. Thank you to Iria for her kindness on our last day. Breakfast staff Tamara, Fabian, Adrienne, Elizabeth, Laura thank you for your cheery welcome and for knowing our names from the moment of our arrival. A visit you won’t forget and I am looking forward to our next stay. Excellent cocktails.

i went for my 22nd birthday and had the most beautiful and amazing time!! staff was so extremely helpful. the resort is kinda far from all the nightlife but there is a bus stop at the bottom of hill near the entrance to the hotel that will take you all around Tenerife for like, 5 euro— although I know party goers and night owls aren’t necessarily the demographic for this hotel, lololol. staff was ridiculously nice too. i felt very welcome!! i will definitely be returning and bringing my friends!! food is awesome too!!

I had to talk to the manager for the van not giving us a ride to the swimming pool. They said they would pick us up in 10 minutes but no one showed up. The manager was nice to give us some perks. But the staff needs more training. The breakfast was really good
