The hotel was great. The staff are so unbelievably helpful and lovely. Whoever the owner is should do all they can to keep the staff they have, they are nothing short of fantastic. Breakfast was good and we ate dinner once too and we were really happy. The location is great, not too far from town but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. We also appreciated the free shuttle in the evening to town. We walked back twice but it was also easy to get a Didi taxi. Highly recommend this place.

Loved our stay at this hotel. Staff were amazing, very hard working to make sure guest stay comfortable. Kids loved the pool. It's a quiet and picturesque location, 20min walk from west street. Food options were amazing for the whole family. We enjoyed our dinners as the kids could safely play in the restaurant play area.

Amazing location by the Li river and place to stay despite it being a little further from the Yangshou city. One of our group had organised a massage without a lot of notice. Our family member said she enjoyed the massage which she highly recommends. Staff are very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wish that we could have 3 nights there as opposed one.

Wonderful staff very very helpful and also an one stop shop. They will help organizing Li River Cruise, Bamboo Raft at Yangshuo, and transportation to any activities that you join. They also provide in room massage service. Food was great and stunning views of Li River from the resort room. Thanks to the very amiable staffs which make my stay very enjoyable.

Thank you Li River Resort!

Another magical stay at Li River Resort, and it won't be my last. Their excellent food is some of the best in town and their wonderful warm and accomodating staff are second to none. The rooms are comfortable and stylishly done. Many offer heavenly views. All of this, plus great rates and a location that strikes the perfect balance between serenity and access make this hotel a perfect 10. Without being cold or pretentious, the hotel is elegant, inviting and intimate with noticeable attention to detail paid at every turn. Perched high on the bank of the Li River fantastic mountain views make for a magical and impactful sense of place and memorable outdoor dining. An easy 20 minute walk that winds peacefully along the river, down the narrow country road, will take you directly to the boat landing and all of the action of bustling West St. If you don't feel like walking, there is a hotel shuttle, or you can get a taxi for less than $5.

The staff go way beyond the ordinary to make sure your stay is the best possible. I really have to commend the staff in every way. For one, when you check out, they intentionally time a quick check of your room to make sure you didn’t forget anything. If you did, they call within minutes of your checkout to let you know. The staff also prepare meals if you have received a free breakfast. Meals are awesome and filling. There are a number of breakfast menus to choose from and you can add items at cost if you like. I tried several while I was there and they were all great. The views of the mountains are unmatched. The pool also makes images really cool. The grounds are kept by a gardener and I found the whole area just awesome. Note, they are right on the river, which is also quite cool. There are other hotels in the city, but I would remind those considering those options that while convenient, it is very noisy in the village center. This hotel offers a free shuttle twice out and twice back. You can also use their taxi service or get a taxi via didi. Given the immense noise in the village center, I’d generally stay away from that area. Also, almost no hotels offer home stay like apartment hotels to foreigners. If you are a local, then I’m sure the number of options is significantly increased. Nevertheless, I found this hotel a true winner.

An excellent stay. The views from the rooms and terrace are spectacular. The staff were lovely and fantastically helpful. They spoke good English and were able to arrange all the trips we needed including transport and tickets. Not only that but they ensured the drivers took us to the right entry points and were clear about where to pick us up from. We were able to have a ‘tab’ and pay for all our food, trips and massages in one payment at checkout. They were able to take Visa and not just Alipay as was the case with other places we stayed. The building and garden are well designed and all the furniture and fittings have been carefully selected and are tasteful and attractive. The rural location means the views are spectacular but does mean it’s a 50 minute walk from town, but it is possible to get the free shuttle or arrange for a taxi. The food is good quality home cooked fare and there were plenty of vegetarian options and both western and Chinese food available. We had a fabulous stay and are grateful to the lovely staff for all their help

Sehr schön gelegenes, liebevoll und sehr professionell geführtes Hotel. Alle sprechen Englisch. Sehr gutes Essen; viele Optionen (chinesisch, westlich), was in China vielerorts keine Selbverständlichkeit ist. Leider etwas abgelegen. Zur schönen Landschaft am Yulong-Fluss muss man die verkehrsreiche Stadt Yangshuo durchqueren. Nach Xingping (Norden) und zum Bahnhof sind es ca. 45 - 60 Min. Fahrt. Trotzdem empfehlenswert.

we stayed yangshuo and this hotel two night. Front desk and staff was very kind and really do their best to help us. (especially arrange train schedule, give information to yangshuo sightseeing spot,,, and so on....) Room is very clean and comfort. Next time, we gonna visit this hotel again and take comfort time once more!!!

第一次來到陽朔，入住水岸山居，整個體驗非常好。 酒店環境：戶外環境優美，空氣清新。 酒店設施：天氣太冷了，室外游泳池等等都沒有使用，但看着挺好 服務態度：酒店每位服務人員都很有禮貌，態度親切，願意為客人解決問題，同時也提供不少好的建議。 酒店餐廳：不論是早餐和炒菜，都美味可口。 房間環境：入住了套房，環境很好。跟酒店服務人員說了洗手盤有漏水情況和需要更換吹風機都有立馬跟進修覆。房間沒有電視，環境非常幽静。 其他：通過酒店參加了一天團，女司機開車認真負責，一整天坐車都穩穩的，旅程中有說有笑。

Li River Resort took terrific care of me throughout my 5 night stay. The staff was very attentive and remembered my room, name, and preferences from the start. As a woman traveling solo, it felt good to be known and safe, too. Excellent English language skills helped to plan my events and chat about the day when I returned. The facilities appeared to be in fine shape. Room was always clean. Very tasteful, artistic touches. The trees filtered my view of the river. The mountains stood out beautifully. For two of my days in town, I was happy simply to hang out at the hotel, my balcony, and grounds. I took the front desk help in lining up massage, Tai Chi lesson, private bike tour, and taxi. I was delighted with the services and found the prices competitive with online offers. Again, I felt looked after. I rented a bike from the place across the road and found the bike adequate to riding the roads and paddy paths, at a very reasonable price. The restaurant kept me coming back for both breakfast and dinner. Tasty food, remembered my spice preferences, and generous portions. I also ate at the local restaurant across the street which was ok and a couple good places in town. To get there I took the bus from the airport to Yangshuo. Didn't see the taxi stand and wasn't able to negotiate a price as low as the hotel suggested due to rush hour Returning, the staff helped me with my bus ticket at no extra charge and taxi for the agreed rate. Overall Li River Resort made a great vacation.
