“Upon check in the lobby smelled of wet dog. They asked for a card to be put on file for incidentals and the card reader wasn’t working. So they had to manually enter it somewhere on their computer. We were given our room key and upon approaching our room the door was cracked open. We entered and the room smelled of cigarettes. The door didn’t lock from the outside so we went back to the desk to inform them. We got our room switched to another room. This one locked and didn’t smell of……

“We had a great stay! The staff was very friendly and attentive, the breakfast was tasty and the coffee was phenomenal to say the least. The parking was great as well it was very well lit. I would definitely recommend and come back next time I’m in Chicago.”

“Beautiful location. But hotel room had not been fully cleaned - dirty wash cloths in shower. Also there are no operable windows, so if you want fresh air, especially nice given lakefront, you need to get a room with a balcony. I tried to change rooms and was give a new room number to check-in the next day, but the front desk said they had no record of it when I returned in the evening . The 3rd night, they were able to change the room. Also the breakfast was not good given the price. ……
