Under construction... unable to access many areas.. pots catching water in dining area... dust everywhere... cable man entered our room while we were in there... checked out no paperwork given then a charge of 70.00 taken out of my bank...one staff member would tell us how to get thru we would then go that way and be reprimanded...

For the cost, this place should have been much cleaner... the carpet in the lobby is stained and kinda old and ratty looking. The elevator was the same way. ..there were stains on the walls in the bathroom and sleeping area, cracks in the caulk, the area in the wall behind the toilet was pathetically "fixed"... you could see foam filler sticking out. In my opinion, this place is not worth the $180 price tag... i explained my cocerns and complaints to the front desk lady but they fell on deaf ears. . I was not offered any comp or money of the bill. I was also billed at the end for services i wasn' t made aware of until check out. Apparently there was a workout room and we could've used chairs for the beach but we were not told about these things until check out. Yet, still had to pay the extra fee... i don't see us renting a room here again. .

The lobby of this hotel is nice but the rest of the hotel isn't in the same condition. When we checked into our room, there was a strange red sticky substance all over the floor.

5 Star hotel pricing with 2 star amenities. The stiff scratchy towels had yellow stains on them. Found someone's hair on the pillows and bedding (I'm bald, so I know it wasn't me). No vending machines on our floor. The ice machine didn't work, front desk told me to try another floor. The actual room size versus the pictures on Expedia is borderline false advertising. The only reason it's not a 1 star review is because the staff was mostly helpful and accommodating, plus the food at the two hotel restaurants, Breakers and the Wharfside, was outstanding! I recommend you stay somewhere else and walk to the restaurants.

The only thing we didnt like was the comfort of the mattress which was pretty poor

We really enjoyed our stay. And will be sure to return for another stay
