Great location 5 min walk.to beach. The home served us well as our home was under renovation. The mangement company worked with us extending our depature dates several times. The only issue we had was with the lawncare. We have to regularly request for the yard to be cut. The backyard could be an ossais if it was maintain. We are in cutting seaaon the yard must be cut weekly. I don't like addressing this but I must for the next person. The deck is beautiful but we couldn't enjoy it at the end because high grass brought mosquitoes and other creatures hense I would not allow the dogs out there. Lawncare service was the worst would leave grass on the deck everytime they cut the grass. Given the time of year and the close proximity to the ocean vegetation growns rapidly, hense the grass must be cut weekly.

Nothing like advertised

We arrived to a house with mold on the siding by the garage and it got worse from there. Dirty towels on the bathroom floor, unmade beds in all bedrooms, frayed and soiled furniture and the smell of smoke. Floors, sills and glass top furniture were all unclean. Someone had laid on the couch and all of the pillows were on one side as if they’d just gotten up. Four of a had to find last minute hotel accommodations 30+ mins from our intended destination and incurred costs related to food and lodging we had not planned for.

Serene getaway

Beautiful house, easy check-in. The neighborhood is quiet, neighbors are super friendly. Short stroll to the beach, a gorgeous beach at that! Dog friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better house for our getaway!

Lovely home

This home was absolutely lovely. The host was readily available when needed. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The home is very well stocked with all that you need to be comfortable. Plenty of towels including beach towels. Some beach accessories such as sand buckets and frisbee. The kitchen is very well appointed. All the necessities for cooking and serving for the week. Laundry is easily accessible. The host has even included a small selection of books and board games. The home is extremely clean. It is about a five minute walk to the beach. We actually ended up driving and parking on the street at the beach entrance but there was plenty of parking for that as Buckroe Beach park is not very crowded. As far as the location, Buckroe Beach is just lovely for families. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the calm, warm water and the family friendly vibe. We fished on the pier at the end of the park and had a wonderful time. Restaurants and grocery shopping are a very short drive. The neighborhood is quiet and comfortable. If I had to make one change to the property it would be to add more living room seating. The sofa was comfortable but just not enough seating for all of our group. I would definitely stay at this home again!

Clean home, nice that it was a short walk or drive to the beach

Nice, modern home. Beautiful kitchen with everything you need. Responsive host. Definitely could have walked to the beach but chose to do the short drive because of the amount of gear we took. Our issues were: Grass: It was so long when we arrived our dog and kids didn’t even want to be in the yard. Wasn’t cut our whole week stay. Beds: The only comfortable bed was the king bed. The pull out couch appears to be broken? and we resorted to using the very thin mattress from it on the floor. The other beds are very cheap and uncomfortable. Door: Sliding back door latch didn’t function properly but they had a piece of wood to put in the frame. Water: Water pressure was so low that only one person could shower at a time or the other would barely trickle out. Just not very convenient when 8 people need a shower after being at the beach. Overall though, decent, quiet, friendly neighborhood and with these few things fixed, would definitely recommend!
