Loved it!
They converted what appeared to be a former business, and it was fabulous! Plenty of beds, a kitchen with everything, an outdoor gas firepit, 3 tvs, and an indoor hot sauna were just some of the featues. A group would love this space, although there is just one (nice) bathroom. I'd definitely stay here again! Close to Houghton or Torch Lake / Hubbelll (7 miles) if you are taking the seaplane to Isle Royale.

Fun place to stay!
My family stayed at Lola's for Michigan Tech graduation weekend. It was very comfortable and they thought of everything to make our stay memorable. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a home away from home when visiting the Houghton/Hancock area of the UP.

Convenient-Cute- Relaxing
Conveniently located property (some noise from road but slept great!). Relaxing vibe with coffee bar, different seating areas (actual privacy if have children they can have own area hang out! 2 electric fireplaces and 3 tvs. Outdoor patio. Every cooking appliance anyone could ever imagine! Didn’t have chance use sauna. Very clean property lots amenities!

Perfect Getaway
Great location to explore the UP. We came up to check out the CopperDog race (which was previously cancelled, but there were still some fun events in Calumet for the weekend) and have a little getaway for my husbands birthday. Lola's was perfect. Very nice place, easy to find, plenty of parking. We're already looking for a time to return!

We had originally planned this as a snowmobile trip but the weather had other plans. We decided to come up anyway. The rental was lovely and had everything that you would need for a cozy UP stay. Wonderful area with plenty of great restaurants and sights to see.

Perfect location for a MTU visit
We were visiting MTU as a potential college option for my daughter. It is a great and easy to find location. Very cozy with room for everyone to get downtime separately. Close to Houghton and the ski hill.

We arrived after dark and the neon Lolas sign in the window made it very easy to find. When we stepped in the (electric)fireplace was on, and the flat felt nice and toasty, great feeling after a long drive. Super easy access to Houghton and Hancock Lovely view of the canal and the Houghton side. Flat was unique, seems like it was maybe an automotive parts store and a home and gift store in the past, cool reminders of both. If you were hauling a trailer with sleds, you would have easy and ample parking. We would stay here again.

Don't judge a book by its cover.
This strange, green building doesn't look like a rental, but it's the most adorable and comfortable rental place I've ever seen. Well stocked with all the essentials! My boys loved the space, TV's, ring toss game and outside amenities. It was so clean and cozy. Furniture and beds were comfortable. No true oven, but kitchen was stocked with a stovetop unit, crockpot, instant pot, toaster oven, so you really could cook just about anything. My only annoyance was that it was just a bit cluttered. Extra chairs that weren't needed. Trays of glasses on the kitchen table that weren't needed and had to be moved to use table. The coffee station was amazing and so appreciated. We will stay here again!! Go Huskies!!!
