An adventure in itself
We got in very late and had to use flashlights to find our way around the property. It was a lot of back-and-forth, but we found our way. The room was nice and big and quiet, but the bathroom was tiny. Luckily, we are both smaller people. There were a lot of long hairs on the bedding, which made it seem unclean, but I'm sure it was just the bed-maker and we didn't let it bother us. The check-out time was early, 10:00, which I had forgotten because we're staying in many places over a couple of weeks. At 10:00 and through 10:30, we had our door opened, knocked on several times, and were told to leave. So don't delay on your check out, they are not patient! I would stay here again, it was great.

The hotel offers very nice small rooms, good value for the price and easy check-in/check-out. Everything was clean and modern style. However, the location is in one of the worst areas of the city why we would not return.

The property was nicer than we were expecting, especially for the price! We were waiting for the email that was going to be sent to us 24 hours prior to checking in, but nothing arrived. Turns out, they sent an email to us months ago - right after we booked the room. It was in German, though - so we didn’t understand it. We did see the 4 digit code in the email, so we were able to get in and then check in from there. You make your own room cards - it’s pretty easy check in! Unless you’re not tech savvy, then you might struggle. The property on each side was kinda run down and had graffiti, but the hotel itself was good! Nice to have a kitchenette, plus there was a fan and hair dryer, too!

My stay
The room was furnished and decorated to a high standard,and the kitchen area was well provided for inc a kettle and toaster. My only negative comments is that the shower flooor in my room was very slippery, and rather than risk an accident I only had one shower during my stay. And I could also hear doors slamming frequently - but I could live with that as I spent most of my time sightseeing.

Although the structure is nice, it is not 100% convenient as there is no elevator in the building, If you're not lucky to have an apartment at base floor, it could be an every-day challenge (especially if you travel with heavy luggage)

I had quite high hopes for the property as photos were really promising! Only nice thing about the hotel was the bathroom, except we were given 1 roll of very thin toilet paper for 2 people staying for 4 nights! Room was extremely small for 2 people. Beds were horrible, I had sleeping dents in the mattress and my husband was poked by springs! Pillows were really bad as well... Could not leave window open as it was towards the "air shaft" and sometimes people were smoking there or talking/having a party at night. To be honest, I would not stay there again...

Everything was as expected, except that the website says free parking...led me to believe there was a place the hotel had to park your car. The street parking was free, but it was only by luck that I was able to find a close spot.

The apartment was spacious, in clean condition and well set out. The view from the window was a building site but this did not affect us as we were not there much during daylight hours. Location is convenient for public transport & a 15 min walk to the city centre. Good value for the cost.

This is not a hotel it should not be on hotels.com misleading it is shabby room no lift they don’t clean the room give you one towel for one week the heating was improper very very bad I am regular customer at hotels.com but would urge them to remove this property as it is misleading for eg basic information says there is front desk for limited hours there is none overall worst experience of my life in 30 years of my travel to over 55 nations

Great little apartments.
Very cozy place. Innovative self service automatic hassle free check in. My apartment was on the top floor (5th), which gave me a little bit of exercise, as I don`t usually do enough. Everything went really smooth. Highly recommended.

Great apartment, worth the price
The automated, flexible check-in is fast and not complicated. The room is very clean. We had a damaged lock at the bathroom door, but the overall experience was really great.

Loved the automated check-in process, it took away the stress of arriving late. Seconds walk from the underground/tram/train but equally walking distance from Central Station. Small but clean rooms. It was a sound place.

Arrived at the hotel too early
We arrived at the hotel at 12:30 the afternoon we attempt to get inside the hotel for the five minutes nobody would answer the door. Finally a hotel worker answered the door and spoke very little English he told us that we were unable to enter the hotel until after 3:00 PM he said that you would have to have a code number to get in the front door and a code number did receive your room key on the computer inside the hotel there is no staff on on duty at all at any time during the day or night parking is terrible you park approximately 3 blocks away just to get a space to park your car also the walls were very thin we get here our neighbors until over 2 o'clock in the morning we cannot get to sleep and there was no one you can talk about to be moved to a different room for that reason I would not recommend this hotel . Also did not received a secret code or code number from our emailed to us regarding about the confirmation on the room and the hotel

Dear Mr. Terry, we regret that you have had such a negative experience with us and Hanover. Please note that we are not a hotel, but only arrange apartments. The correct term would be "Aparthotel". As a result, we are not allowed to put shields outside in public places. In the booking overview of our accommodation it is mentioned that the check-in works via a modern computer terminal system at the place. According to our experience, all of our customers always receive an email with the access data and information about their stay. We will investigate why you did not receive this email. In case of need and emergencies, we always have a 24/7 emergency call under the contact number you received at the time of booking confirmation. Our multi-lingual staff is available around the clock, even at night, specially for our clients in emergencies such as these. As a rule, we always allow early check-in as an exception for reasons of goodwill. Unfortunately, we have no influence on the external experiences of our guests in Hannover like your visit to the castle. We always read and fight for each individual rating. It is always a pity if our guests have had bad experiences with us. However, we will take your rating with us as an additional motivation to expand our service. Kind regards The Apartment City Team

On the whole good but a couple of things would have made it better. One thin pillow was not enough. One tea/coffee cup for two people ditto. The street was not far from public transport stops and not far from City centre but looked poor with much graffiti. Anyone with a car might find parking inadequate. No specific parking appeared to be allocated to the hotel. No problem for us; we had come by air and public transport. However if we were in Hannover again we would consider this hotel.

Great Stay, Ideal location and served its purpose
Simple and easy check in, totally faceless and all done via access codes via an automated machine, which was great. Only 1 Keycard provided for the room which wasn't an issue. Room was simple and basic. Was missing Mugs for a brew (only 1 tiny tea cup, where there were 2 of us). Other than that it served its purpose and ideal stay

Mir hat gefallen, dass der Check-in so einfach war und das Zimmer in einem sehr guten zustand war. Das Badezimmer ist groß und es gibt eine Kochmöglichkeit. Die Matratze und die Kissen hätten härter sein können, da bin ich aber etwas speziell.
