“Conveniently located for the reasons I was in Halifax. Room was extremely clean and well-maintained as was the Bathroom. Quiet; Children living on floor above but their noise was minimal and normal for kids. All was quiet after their bedtime!! Walkway to the private entrance at the back of the house was grass and ground uneven. The weather was sunny & warm during my stay, so was not a problem. Had it been rainy or winter conditions, it would have been slippery.”

“A very enjoyable stay at The Fourth Lock. It was a great location for exploring the area and has a really good restaurant on site. We were made very welcome and Jay could not have been more helpful. There are only 3 rooms, ours had access to a balcony with a view of the lake. “Great two full baths. Listing refers to 3 beds. Unless you view frequent questions you discover a blow up that you must rearrange the living/dining space to set up. Really designed for 4person as in 2 couples only. Parking convenient. Uber or pay to park if doing touristy on boardwalk or piers not walking distance to downtown.
