Good location, rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful. Where it really falls down is on the food offering. I see new menus have been printed extolling the virtues of the menu but this stay, and also on my last stay at the same Campanile 3 weeks ago, the cold buffet was a complete joke. It used to be one of the things I looked forward to but I'd be surprised if they'd spent as much as EUR 30 Euros on the whole thing for however many guests were dining. At EUR 9.90 per head for what looked and tasted like cheap bits from the local Metro, tired bits of salami, cold mini blinis, little bits of chopped ham, a half empty bowl of grated cheese, a wilted and badly washed lettuce, small slices of cold tasteless pizza, a tin of sardines tipped into a small bowl etc, etc. What used to be an appetising and interesting meal option has become a way of squeezing maximum profit out of very little. What a shame
