"This place was perfect for my needs. A clean, safe place, to rest my head and a way above average staff. The staff were so kind and helpful. I wouldn’t think twice about booking with this place again. The ONLY issue we had was that the pool is not open. Not a deal breaker but it was not listed as closed and so we were expecting it to be open. We survived, lol."

"The property was clean, the staff friendly. Courtesy breakfast was tasty, but ran out of eggs around 9 am, when breakfast was served until 9:30. However, it was the weekend, so perhaps more people. "

"Great place"

"We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!"

"Check in was easy.The house is great For a large family..had a amazing time! No jellyfish!! Water was great dock &view are awesome 5 nice bedrooms.Host was great and guick response tine will definitely come back next year."

"The communication with the home owners (Debbie, Uzma) was excellent throughout. That allowed us to feel more at ease from the very start. All of us enjoyed the close proximity to the water along with the generous availability of the kayaks. We spent several hours touring the nearby coves and taking in all the sights and sounds. When it was too warm at certain points of the day, we were able to stretch out and enjoy the living room area that allowed us to still take in all the views of the river. The kitchen and the home were well supplied with all the necessary items that one could ask for during their stay. Furthermore, we had a memorable experience during our stay at Ophelia’s Point. We already spoke about the strong possibility of making the trip back down to NN of Virginia in the near future. Thank you again for making our stay such a wonderful one!! Don’t pass up the opportunity of crossing the river on the cable ferry :)"
