Beautiful house.
The house is in immaculate condition and has everything needed for a perfect stay. We were blessed with perfect weather and were able to eat every meal on the balcony leading from the lounge/diner. What a lovely view and the occasional sighting of storks flying up the valley. We were two motorcyclists and within minutes were riding up mountain passes and through glorious forests. I can thoroughly recommend a stay at this beautiful house.

Good and bad
Nice chalet but needs some attention particularly outside. Hedges very overgrown to the point where it made walking down the steps difficult especially when carrying luggage or shopping. Neighbouring property very scruffy and dogs barking continually during the night. We were unaware there was a separate property in the basement. Internally very spacious and well equipped. Would be helpful if it was made clearer that towels are not provided - had to make an urgent trip to Lidl! Close enough to walk into lovely Munster which we really enjoyed. The lovely lady who met us at the chalet couldn’t speak any English so an information folder in different languages would have been helpful. We would definitely return to the area which was beautiful but not to this property.

Comfortable house in a beautiful location.
The house is spacious and well equipped, although a fan would have been welcome in the intense heat we experienced. The location is stunning: beautiful views from the terrace and the town was within walking distance along a quiet path. The cycle paths in either direction from Munster are good for those not wanting to brave the hills.

Very comfortable and ideal for us
We loved the location and surrounding area. There is so much to see and do. The chalet is spacious and pretty well equipped and the view up the valley from the balcony was stunning. It is so easy to walk into the lovely town of Munster for just about anything you need. You can walk from the door in all directions for beautiful countryside walks. Sylvie was very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be returning to this area in the future.

A charming, beautifully co-ordinated cottage
We really enjoyed our holiday at Le Petit Lutin, which was spotlessly clean and relaxing. The view from the terrace is exceptional and the sunsets during our stay were lovely. Sylvie is so friendly and welcoming, a very likeable owner. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a holiday at her property. The surrounding countryside is very pretty; impressive hills dotted with villages and towns just waiting to be explored. If you like nature and fresh air, you couldn't fail to enjoy Alsace.

Très agréable chalet avec vue magnifique
Nous étions à 6 et avons passé une excellente semaine à Hohrod, dans ce beau chalet neuf, propre, spacieux et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Le chalet est très bien situé, avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée de Munster. Nous étions très agréablement surpris de pouvoir si facilement aller à Munster à pied par un sentier à l’arrière du chalet. Belle terrasse avec barbecue à disposition. Il manque peut être juste une brosse pour nettoyer le barbecue après usage! Un accueil très chaleureux, et excellente communication avec la propriétaire. Nous recommandons ce chalet sans réserve!

La semaine s'est très bien déroulée. L'accueil a été au top. La maison est parfaite pour 6 à 8 personnes. La vue est très belle, malgré le fait que l'on soit en bas de la vallée. Je recommande.

Chalet confortable dans la belle vallée de Munster
Joli chalet confortable et bien équipé situé sur les hauteurs de Munster. Belle vue sur la vallée. La vallée entre le Hohneck et Munster est très belle et permet de jolies randonnées. Pour les marcheurs, possibilité de partir explorer la vallée et les villages voisins à pied depuis le gite par des sentiers de randonnée. Merci à Mme Winkelmuller pour son accueil. Nous avons passé un bon séjour et avons hâte de revenir.

Le chalet, spacieux est situé sur les hauteurs de Munster, au calme des collines, accessible par un grand escalier. Il est proche de Colmar, des beaux villages, du Rhin et de Strasbourg. Séjour très agréable !

Ein an sich schönes Ferienobjekt mit leider einigen unschönen Begleitumständen
´Tolles Haus Hohrod/Munster Alsace Panoramablick` – das würde ich so unterschreiben! Dennoch einige Mängel, insb. in der Ferienhausbeschreibung: So wie von Axel S. am 09.10.22 geschildert, genauso ist auch unser Check-In abgelaufen – ohne den zuvor angekündigten Kontakt und mit einem nicht verschlossenen Ferienhaus (auf Anruf hin: Vermieterin kommt nur bei Fragen/Problemen). Auch der Check-Out (Hausbeschreibung bis 12 Uhr) gestaltete sich etwas schwierig, da die nur noch sehr wenige Abnahmetermine frei hatte. Deutsches Fernsehen gibt es merkwürdigerweise nicht – angeblich wegen des Anbieters, was uns jedoch iHa einen vorherigen Elsassaufenthalt einige Kilometer entfernt sowie auf unseren jüngsten Südfrankreichaufenthalt sehr erstaunt hat. Gehört jedenfalls in die Hausbeschreibung. Pool und DVD-Player entgegen Beschreibung nicht vorhanden. Ausweislich Beschreibung und Mietvertrag mietet man ein ganzes Chalet/Ferienhaus! Vor Ort stellt sich dann aber heraus, dass das Haus im UG ganz offensichtlich dauervermietet ist – gehört zwingend in die Hausbeschreibung! Zu allem Überfluss raucht der gute Herr regelmäßig direkt unter den Wohnzimmer-Fenstern, so dass die Wohnung = Nichtraucherchalet jeweils sehr schnell nach Rauch riecht. Mitvermietet werden ausdrücklich 3 Parkplätze, von denen aber faktisch 1 Parkplatz auf den Dauermieter im UG entfällt! Möchte man mit 2 großen Autos so parken, dass man einschl. der Kinder problemlos ein- und aussteigen kann, führt dies dazu, dass der Untermieter - von dem man zuvor ja gar nichts wusste - mit seinem Fahrzeug auf der dortigen weißen Linie bzw. etwas darüber parkt. Daraufhin macht der Eigentümer des benachbarten Chalets deshalb Ärger wie ein Oberlehrer, obwohl wir mit unseren Fahrzeugen ordnungsgemäß auf der gesamten angemieteten Fläche gestanden haben. Die Vermieterin kümmerte sich zwar zunächst, jedoch schließlich mit dem Hinweis, dass uns ja auch nur so viele Parkplätze zustünden, wie Fahrzeuge vorhanden seien. Sehr merkwürdig – hat man doch ein eigenständiges ganzes Haus für bis zu 8 Personen mit ausdrücklich 3 Parkplätzen angemietet! Haus wurde schließlich nach angeblicher telefonischer Rücksprache mit der Vermieterin ohne Nachricht an uns von schaulustigen Mietinteressenten von außen besichtigt einschließlich Fotoaufnahmen vom Haustür- und Terrassenbereich, auf denen man als Bewohner ´bestenfalls` auch noch abgebildet ist! Eine Innenbesichtigung haben wir verweigert!

Insgesamt ein gutes Objekt mit kleinen Fehlern
Die Kommunikation bei Ankunft war ungenau, die Vermieterin war nicht wie angekündigt vor Ort, das Objekt war allerdings nicht verschlossen. Es gab im Haus keine "General Information" (zB. für Müllentsorgung, Fernsehgebrauch), das von uns gemeldete Problem mit dem Ferseher wurde zwar durch die Vermieterin behoben, bestand aber nach wenigen Minuten erneut. Bei der Abreise gestand die Vermieterin, dass der Receiver schon öfter Probleme bereitet hatte. Der Fernseher hatte, obwohl wir auf der Ostseite der Vogesen waren, merkwürdigerweie keinen Empfang deutschen Fernsehens - was uns weder in Südfrankreich noch irgendwo in Italien jemals passiert ist. Die Extraberechnung für Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Endreinigung war zum Buchungszeitpunkt nicht auf der Webseite erkennbar, sondern stand erst im zugesandten Vertrag.

Je confirme les appréciations sur le confort du gîte et la vue superbe depuis la terrasse. Petit bémol sur l'accès avec ses nombreuses marches qui ne facilitent pas le déchargement et le chargement des bagages.Par ailleurs, pour ceux qui comme nous ont le sommeil léger, la circulation sur la petite route située sous le gîte est dérangeante dès 6h30 du matin.Cela peut être un plus pour ceux qui veulent profiter largement de la journée.

tolles Haus in wunderschöner Umgebung
Wir, 2 Erwachsene und 1 Hund, haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder. Das Haus liegt sehr schön etwas oberhalb von Munster, die Stadt ist auch zu Fuss mit einem netten Spaziergang erreichbar. Wir sind viel gewandert, das Haus ist hierfür ein guter Ausgangspunkt, genauso aber auch zur Erkundung der vielen schönen Orte in der Umgebung.

Schitterende locatie
Een erg leuk huisje op een fantastische locatie. Heerlijk wandelen en veel rust. En toch veel bezienswaardigheden vlakbij. Wij waren met de motor en hebben dit als uitvalsbasis voor mooie ritjes en wandelingen gebruikt. Ook de kids en onze hond hebben zich uitstekend vermaakt. Aanrader!

Maison fonctionnelle et confortable, calme et lumineuse, bien située avec les Vosges d'un côté et Colmar de l'autre, petmet de découvrir facilement la route des vins d'Alsace tout en étant en proche de la nature. Propreté irréprochable, seul bémol sur la literie un peu veillissante. Très bon séjour dans l'ensemble.

Gite confort dans une superbe région
Gite très agréable et bien situé. Exactement comme détaillé dans l'annonce. Juste à noter qu'il n'y a une longue rangée d'escaliers à descendre pour arriver au gite, il n'y a donc pas d'accès direct en voiture ce qui complique un peu le déchargement et chargement de la voiture ainsi que l'accès poussette bébé.

Very nice clean stay
The house location is perfect for adventuring around Munster. Clean and well layed out. Absolutely good for a family stay. The view from the terrace is great, it makes you want to have breakfast outside even when it’s a little colder in the morning ;)
