“The view from our room was gorgeous and the enclosed balcony with heater was an unexpected bonus. The room was nice but thought the bathroom looked ‘tired’.
From previous reviews, I thought the hotel would feel much more special than it did. We were here to celebrate a special birthday ( which the hotel were aware of) but that seemed to pass them by.
Dinner in the evening was ok ( the staff were very pleasant) but again, I’d hoped the food would be excellent and it wasn’t.

“Bed was lovely nice linen .. basic facilities we paid a lot more then my friends £10 extra to take your dog .. shower was only hot for myself and cold for my partner same for my friend’s.. needed to find a toilet roll from downstairs as only half in the room which wasn’t quite ready at 3:40 .. ok for one night”

“Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. “We didn't make it in time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked great, as was the St Austell beer. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms in the annex next door. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic. ”
