“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay ”

“Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. ”

“As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Brad who offered to carry my bags and explained a lot of information about the local area, and said if I needed anything to just let him know. The building is easily accessible from the car park with the use of a key card which allows you to come and go at all hours. The room was amazing, clean, very modern and the bed was probably the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in. The room has everything you need such as smart tv, fridge and coffee machine. I……

“Really comfortable B&B, the owners were really hospitable and the breakfasts were prob one of the best I have ever had.
Dog friendly and super cute that they provided dog treats in the room.
Only small thing is the jacuzzi was wood fired and they needed 6 hours notice if you wanted to use it and felt there was a bit of reluctance around asking to use it. ”
