“I had an absolute brilliant stay here! The hotel is located only steps from the airport and just a couple of blocks from the main street of Bocas del Toro. The room was decent and it had a great balcony where you can sit and watch the planes arrive and depart the island. Kind of a cool and unique experience. The hotel owner Marcel and his wife Ana were also super wonderful!”

“We absolutely loved staying here. The overwater bungalows were so enjoyable to experience. The staff was very attentive and are fluent in English. Being able to swim in the water, enjoy all the wildlife, paddle boarding, and kayaking will give us plenty to do while we stayed there and the water taxis were very easy to get the staff can even help you get one if needed.”

“The location was just far enough away from the busy Bocas Town it made it feel like we were on our own private island. Attractive rooms with the best view and an overall inviting aura. The thing that made this an 11/10 is the food and food service. Every meal was amazing and served with a friendly smile. The lounge chairs on the deck made it hard to leave this serine location.”

“I had a really relaxing stay at the Sea Monkey. I was in awe of the breathtaking views, and spent much of my time relaxing on the outdoor hammock enjoying the weather and location. The staff were quick in responding to requests via whats app and were super helpful! I enjoyed the little town that was accessible by foot and appreciated that this was also just a 5-10 minute boat ride to other activities. I so cannot wait until I get to come back again!”

“This lodge is far more than a hotel. It is an experience. They take excellent care of you. The food is amazing and the details in preperation is top quality. My spouse and I enjoyed the realxed atmosphere but also the activities. We went on the wildlife tour, the bat caves and snorkeling (arranged by La Loma). All were fun. Be aware that you are in the jungle with jungle noises at night and no walls. After the first night, we got used to the sounds and actually found them soothing. From the……

“Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Daniel et Brian. Très bien placé, au calme, et facilement accessible en bateau. Daniel nous a organisé les tours à partir du lodge, très appréciable. “Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. James the host answered any questions or needs we had. Be sure to ask him a lot……

“A two-night stay at this charming hotel on Cristobal Island, tucked away from all noise. Nature at its best. Freshly caught lobsters and seafood, and the best gourmet breakfasts and dinners prepared by the owners. We shared laughs, stories, and karaoke in the evenings with other guests. They also coordinate tours and other activities on the beaches and surrounding islands. Also I recommend this wonderful place for a Pilates retreat - Yoga - Family reunion promotion, etc.”

“First time as a mature adult venturing into a hostel. The facility was clean and the reception was warm and sincere. The other patrons were respectful and cordial. I wouldn’t hesitate to use the hostel again for a very economical stay in Bocas town. ”

“Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig. Zum Badezimmer gibt es keine Tür. Aus der Dusche kommt leider kein richtiger Strahl. Leider ist es, dadurch das die Inhaber mit 2 Kindern dort sind relativ laut. Für uns war dadurch die Nacht um 7 Uhr beendet. Leider gibt es keine Rezeption oder Security. An allen 3 Seiten wird leider noch gebaut. Die Anlage ist aber sonst sehr schön. Fussläufig gibt es ein Over Water Restaurant/Bar. Vor dem Hotel ist ein kleiner Sandstrand und man kann hier surfen und……
