Inaccuracies in the listing and property falling apart
Pretty and spacious property. Nice fridge and freezer. TVs in every room. AC runs cold.
We found exposed wires and plywood in multiple rooms, broken amenities, leaks in the floors, leaks from ceilings, holes in walls/floors/ceilings. Workout room was unsafe with exposed wire and a collapsed roof. Backyard amenities were all splintering and broken into pieces. Shed was caving in and full of stinky garbage bags. Powerline wire is run along the front yard behind the workout room and Jerry rigged onto the side of the house outside. If you aren't local, do some research on the neighborhood. They highly upsell one of the roughest parts of town, this property sticks out like a sore thumb. It does look decent on the outside at a glance, and being "gated" helps.
Main Closet was dirty and full of dirty cleaner supplies. Not a useable space. Not enough towels, we had to scrounge mismatched towel sets from the laundry room. Friends had to go home which saved us from buying our own towels. Floor was dirty all over, wear your shoes. Friend walked with barefeet and had black feet in minutes. Clearly the expensive cleaning fee wasn't going to this property. Outside standalone grill was useable! But the built in stone oven and grill was a falling apart pile of ashes and cobwebs, needs maintenance and cleaning.
Over listed beds and bedrooms. We had people in my group go home due to this, and we paid extra for more guests. VRBO is no help. The friends were happy to leave though.
