“We normally stay at Marriott properties, but wanted to go off the beaten path and try something different for this trip. Hotel Telluride was quaint and charming. We arrived on the last night of a metal or electronic dance music fest and the patrons were noisy. Not the hotels fault but it did surface the fact that the walls are thin, and there is no insulation between floors. Also, the available underground parking seemed to be inadequate for a full house. “The parking situation and how to actually check-in was a little rough, since there are few parking spots, all are very small, and the check-in desk is in a different hotel. Once that got sorted, it was very smooth. The attendant showed us where we can park outside, which was way more spacious. The worst I can say about the room is that one particular floorboard creaked loudly when touched (I feel sorry for anyone who was in the floor below me). All in all, it was a great experience.
