“For the high cost of one night stay, no breakfast was provided and the room was so-so. Comfortable bed, but the cooling equipment is quite loud. There was nothing extra available...hot tub, pool, exercise equipment, NOTHING extra available. Very kind staff, but we will not stay there again.”

“Clean room. Great location. I'll repeat that, great location. Right next to the river and the walking trail. It is about 1 mile from the downtown, so if you are older like me, it is not walking distance. The town has some good bars and restaurants. Beware the ocassional bear.”

The staff took great care in preparing the room, as you could see from the details taken with towels, bed linens, lighting etc. The owners of the hotel were extremely, helpful with suggestions for food and shopping. The hotel property itself was very pretty, with a deck, hot tub, seating areas, fire pit and beautiful baskets of flowers hanging thoughout the outside of the hotel and planters on the deck. “Very nice older property right near Gondola. No ac in rooms and windows shut so quite warm when we checked in. The hot tubs and pool were very nice. We had some plumbing issues. Probably a bit overpriced compared to some other properties nearby. We were attending the bluegrass festival and that was fantastic!”
