Okay but not great
The TV didn't work. I had to call a technicien. The heat didn't work. I had to call an employee. We had only one towel. We're two. No trays for breakfast. You have to go back again and again to the buffet. Not easy to park. The view from our room was appalling. I won't stay there again.

Great location. The street behind was more of a “locals area” which we appreciated. Great little shops/restaurants/bars. Easy to find. Great staff!

Staff was nice and hotel was clean. AC worked well. Nice amenities. The nespresso pods could have tasted better would be my one minor complaint. Just too dark. Otherwise it was an excellent stay and I’d stay again.

Located a block from Metro and Parliament and within a couple of minutes of the historical centre. Quiet little town that comes to life after noon and shuts down before midnight. Scenic streets and intersting architecture.

The infrastructure itself is great. The hotel is really well located, has comfortable rooms with large beds and walking in showers with waterfall douches. Breakfast was decent, with some local products, including oysters which give a nice local feeling to any traveler. But the highlight is definitely the staff. Emre and Chloe do their best to support guests finding their ways in Rennes. From restaurant tips to the local secrets. from acommodating the diverse requests a guest has, I believe that is what makes a difference in a hotel and they fulfill completely this matter. Thank you for great days in Rennes and a bientot!

Very convenient location and parking was also offered. Room was spacious and clean but nothing special. It was a good choice for someone that wants to explore the city centre and spend less time in the room. Did not use the fitness or breakfast so cannot comment.

Great Location
This hotel is in a prime location close to all of the main spots yet very quiet of an evening. Hotel is very clean and tidy. Hotel staff very helpful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in Rennes.

Terrible experience, not for tall people!
The location is great, 10 minute walk from the station and near the busy Republique area. The hotel looks a lot better in photos than reality. Maybe a lot of issues I faced had to do with the fact that it was a top floor room - but there wasn't a window I could open, just a skylight (which explicitly said not to open!). The ceiling high was low through so I hit my head against the towel rack in the bathroom and the lamp fitting in the bedroom (I'm not even 6 feet tall). There were no blinds or curtains on the skylight. The bathroom wss also very cramped and overall, I wasn't impressed with this hotel - would expect more from an Accor hotel. Would not stay here ever again and would think twice before staying in a Mercure.

Awesome breakfast!
The great surprise was how awesome the selection ans varieties of their breakfast. We loved it. The not-so-good was the room smelled very moldy. Given an one-night stay and checking out of hotel early morning for a flight, we didn’t make it a big deal.

Fun in Bretagne.
It was a little warm so the fact that the ac didn’t perform well was a bummer. And there were no sheets, just a comforter so we had to sleep uncovered. The facade is under construction, which happens, but the obstructed view was a minor inconvenience.

Nice hotel well located in the old district.
All was good until I asked the lady at reception if I could borrow an iron. She barked at me that there were only 4 irons and they were all being used. I politely said maybe I could go on a wait list and she barked again that there was already another person in front of me. Nothing arrived and I couldn’t believe it but our door cards needed to be re scanned and she had a go again. We gave up wanting the iron. I did the ironing 2 days later in Bordeaux
