Staff was very friendly esp, Dillion and Katelyn! They followed up on issues during our stay. Coffee was not good if you could find some. We were a party of 4 checked in and towel supply was good for 3 people. No clean towels for 2nd night.

this was a very comfortable stay - friendly and professional staff, our room was large and bright - great handicap accessible bathroom- we did not take advantage of all the fun amenities- pool, outdoor chess, many arcade games... our grandchildren would have LOVED! food from the restaurant was very good (huge portions) and delivered to the room!! i love the Highlander and look forward to returning

I have been to a lot of hotels and resorts and the Highlander was surprisingly great. Staff were welcoming and overtly friendly. The hotel is unique and accommodating. It was perfect after driving across three states. I hit the pool, the bar & restaurant before retiring to rest. Great hotel!!!

The decor and amenities like the pool, bar, snack shop are unique and trendy. It’s a cool place to hang out— more quiet than downtown and more character than Coralville.

No phone in room...alright...but...they leave a telephone number to contact the front if needed. The recording states leave your room number and phone number they will call you back. After 3 calls in a two hour time...still no call back. That's poor service. Overall customer service is under welming, the only bright light in customer services is the young man that runs the snack shack

The rooms are a little beaten up-chips in woodwork, paint scuffed, bathroom outdated except fancy hardware. However, the pool is wonderful, and the arcade is a lot of fun. The public areas of the hotel are in great shape.
