Terrible stay, never again
I will never stay at this Hamidiye Hotel again! Location was great, room well heated but hotel is in terrible condition: room always smelled bad; room door was difficult to get in, shower ran hot/cold; shower wall had lots of mold; there was no hot water kettle; room lighting was flourescent and minimum. Breakfast staff is rude, front desk staff gave me the wrong room at first. Overall, a terrible stay.

Bad experience
The worst Hotel stay ever!! It shouldn't be rated even as 3 stars hotel. A room without napkins,the refregirator was not working, no kettle , no minibar as mentioned in the reservation, bad service. The rate per night is high comparing with other good hotels having the same rate .

The room i saw and booked it throw you guys was not same room was rabish single bed dirty room on the top floor. Then i told them and showed my comfemation paper then changed me to other room. In a same day in second room also when i had a shower a part of celing folow on to my head. Then they changed me for the second day to the other room but with no aircondition was hot couldnt sleep heat plus the window was from that kind witch is opened little bit from the top not all of it thats why i couldnt sleep i had to leave the hotel the 3rd day i had 1 neight with them but couldnt continiue to the 4th day i ask to return my money back for that neight i left Thanks for your co operation Layla

Staff could be more friendly. First room assigned was too small and very smoky, cigarette smoke! But one of the people at the door was very helpful.

As a hotel which cater for multi national clients one expect the reception staff to speak English and is able to give information about the surrounding. When asked about if there is any transport facilities. The receptionist did not know. The metro and tram stations were within walking distance that's less than 5 mins. No local map was available. When asked if there is taxi facility for the airport the rudeness apart. I was told its 25 dollars, I asked how much is it in local currency I was told it,s 25 dollars. I informed the receptionist I intend to pay in Lira how much will it cost he said lady it is 25 dollars!!!!!!!!! The shower holder was broken since day 1 I reported it nothing was done and I stayed there for 6 days. The reception staffs are quite rude and very dismissive. The communication skill is apalling. Don't think will recommend it to anyone.

Die Bilder des Hotels entsprechend nicht der Realität. Personal sehr unfreundlich. Frühstück jedentag 1zu 1 die selben Gerichte. Wenn dieses Hotel 4 Sterne hat dann müssen die echten 4. Sterne Hotel mindestens 6 Sterne haben.

Hotel kwam totaal niet overeen zoals hij werd aangeboden op de site. Het ontbijt was slecht, weinig keuze en iedere dag hetzelfde. De matrassen waren vies, bruin met vlekken. De eerste kamer geweigerd en kregen daarna een andere kamer. Badkamer vies en veel spullen (handvatten) kapot. de douche zat weinig druk op en was erg smerig. De foto's op de site komen niet in de buurt van de werkelijkheid van het hotel.

Vond het tegenvallen, had er meer van verwacht
Locatie is goed, alles is dichtbij. Kamer was schoon, alleen de fohn deed het niet. Zwembad zag er vies uit, Personeel vriendelijk. Ontbijt vond ik slecht, alles was koud en niet echt lekker. Uitzicht dakterras op de 6e etage prachtig! De kleine liften zijn een ramp, vooral als je een kind hebt met kinderwagen. Je wacht soms 20 minuten s'ochtends voordat je de lift in kan stappen, gewoon file aan mensen. Was niet slecht, alleen had uiteindelijk liever iets meer betaald voor een iets luxer hotel.

absolut nicht empfehlenswert!!!!
Zimmer und Badezimmer dreckig!! Zimmer stinkt und klimagerät defekt!! Swimmingpool total trüb und dreckig! Beckerand und Strandliegen ungepflegt und kaputt!! Teppiche im ganzen Hotel überall dunkle flecken und dreckig!! Frühstück warme Getränke ungenießbar und Reste Brot diverse Sachen werden wieder verwendet....igitt!!!! Im großen und ganzem absolut unzufrieden!!!!!!!! Nie wieder!!!

Je reviens d'IStanbul où j'ai séjournée à l'hôtel hamidiye durant une semaine !!! Je suis juste DECUE !! D'ailleurs c'est la première fois je met sun avis négatif et sincèrement je ne suis vraiment pas strict pour noter un hotel ! L'hotel : à FUIR. dès la 1ère nuit on ns a changé de chambre tt simplement parce que la notre était très sale !!!! pas lavée rien !! nous avons retrouvé partout des serviettes en papiers, noyaux de fruits, des médicaments par terre, poussière partout, bref chambre dégeulasse !! je suis allée le dire au réceptionniste qui ns clairement pas cru et a envoyé qqn constater la saleté, il disait que c'était nous alors qu'on venait d'arriver !!!! le rideau est tombé, la clim fonctionnait légèrement mais bon ça à la limite.. petit dej correct mais ne venez pas après 9h ils ne remettent plus de brioches, gâteaux etccc c'est vraiment honteux !!!! ne soyez pas au 5étage vous serez dérangez par le bruit !!!!! chmabre jamais faite, les femmes ne changent que les serviettes tous les jours et encore !!????????? draps jaamis changés juste lit refait, ménage jamais fait, ni mêmes les sanitaires!!! sinon hôtel bien situé je trouve, nous avons pu tout faire à pieds c'est top personnel désagréable, pas de bonjour, pas de merci, les bagages à nous de les portes, étant des femmes nous espérions un min de galanterie bah rien

The hotel is well kept, clean, nice Rooms, decent breakfast and cozy pool. The reception, restaurant and pool staff are just passive and not at all helpfull. The manager should wonder if the staff has Bern there too long....

l'exotisme à Istanbul
pour ceux qui fuient les hôtels de standing international..nous avons beaucoup aimé l'exotisme de cet endroit, peu d'Européens de l'Ouest, de nombreux Malaysiens, tout le charme du dépaysement avec le confort.

trés mauvais hotel, il faut éviter, avec tous les hotels qu'il y'a a Istanbul, dommage de perdre son temps dans celui la, pour résumer les problème j'ai preferer faire une liste -Climatisation en panne dans toutes les chambres, un tres grand probleme vus la chaleur -poignée de porte qui me reste dans la main -robinet de douche cassé -l'eau ne s'écoule et crée une inondation -moquette dégueulasse -fenêtre casser -odeur affreuse dehors -personnel trés désagréable enfin bref j'en oublie d'autres ... je pense que vous avez compris, EVITER

Hamidiye Hotel is located in a nice place in terms of distance and transportation to the main attraction points. Metro station is just across the street where you can go to airport easily. Staff is mostly nice and helpful. Breakfast is decent for a three star hotel. I stayed in a standard room with queen bed. It is a little bit small and it does not have study table which I needed for next day presentation. They offered dinner and spa/massage for a good price. In a general view I like my stay there.
