The room was the cleanest among the hotels I’ve stayed that were similar to Embassy Inn. I should correct this: The room was very, very clean (not just the cleanest). The bedding, towels, etc. were fresh and spotless. The room and bathroom were well-cleaned and smelled nice. There were a refrigerator and one-eye electric stove in the room we stayed. We would pick up breakfast from near the office area and eat in the room (there’s no separate dining area) - which is fine (there is a table with chairs in the room). Coffee, orange juice, milk, various brands of cereal and muffins, and fresh fruit were available. The wi-fi reception in the room was very good; we had no problems. The owners (a family) were very nice and helpful. The hotel is close to Cornell campus and is in a rather secluded, very green and lush area (which we enjoyed very much). It was quiet and the air was fresh. If there is one thing that could be improved, it could be the TV in the room - it was a very old model (not a flat screen) though it had all the cable channels (just difficult to watch with the screen colors being off). However, for us, this was a minor issue and all others aspects of our experience at this hotel more than compensated. My husband and I stayed at Embassy Inn to drop off our daughter for college and would stay here during future visits. Overall, highly recommended.
