Great stay

We were hesitant about staying at this hotel but trusted recent reviews and it did not disappoint. It was on a great location, owners were kind/generous, and the room was exactly what we wanted. We received a free upgrade prior to arrival which was unexpected. Would stay here again with family if we return to the Ithaca area.

The motel was recently updated and aplears to still be updating rooms via the construction roll off box fkr debris disposal. Our room was clean and fresh, mattress firm and received extra pillows. Management very friendly and accomadating. Professionally run facility.

Don't let the outside fool you

Don't let the old outside exterior fool you. We were the first to stay in a recently renovated room and it was very nice. All the things you need (comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, nice shower, etc.). We also found the owners to be extremely friendly, accommodating, and immediately responded to any needs. Only downside is it a bit of a drive from downtown, but very close to Cornell.

New owners trying and restoring an Ithaca area "landmark" and doing well. If you're looking for lodging with all the bells and whistles... keep scrolling. If you're looking for affordable, safe, quiet, clean lodging close to Cornell and the Ithaca area the Embassy is the one. I have to return to the area soon and will be staying there if there are vacancies.

No TV unless you have Amazon Prime or streaming accounts. No firestick remote, just tv remote which wasn’t working. If you are able, I would advise requesting a second floor room. LOTS of noise above us in our first floor room. VERY clean and very nice people.

It’s a nice motel with car parking next to your room door. I had one small room with one bed and the shower there was very tiny in the shape of triangle. Even for a slim person not comfortable to use. Everything small in the room and bathroom. Door lock is the regulator key, I think it’s not very safe.
