This was a comfortable property. In spite of being fully occupied, the staff were friendly and helpful. The free water is a welcome gesture unlike other brands. The breakfast was nice, nothing major but filling and homely. Overall an excellent property with access to a lot of convenient shopping and restaurants near by.

Staff was friendly and welcoming! Light switches in room took some getting used to as one switch would affect multiple areas. Once we figured out the system, room was good. One disconcerting thing was the people hanging out in the parking lot at the lodge next door, smoking grass. They were there when we arrived, when we left for dinner and still there when we returned.

All of the staff we came in contact with were extremely pleasant and friendly. We stayed for 4 nights. After the 2nd night, we took the Do Not Disturb sign off the door to have our room cleaned: all they did was take our used towels & replace them. At breakfast, the toasters barely toasted, the waffle iron was out of order. I was pleased they had purified water stations to fill our water bottles. Other than the lovely staff, it was a bit sub-par in relation to our usual experience with Holiday Inn Express.

Overall the hotel was OK... The location was good. And a special kudos to the staff. They were excellent! But the hotel wasn't the cleanest. The shower floor was soiled, there was dust on some surfaces in our room. The bed sagged, and the elevator always had a strange smell to it. Would not stay here again.
