It is impossible to sleep properly. There is a busy street on one side and even if you get a room at the back, there is a very loud disco on Level 7. My room was on level 1 and still the sound of disco was so loud until 3am that i couldn't sleep. I had a 3 nights booking in this hotel, I only stayed one, the next morning i checked out and went to another hotel.

Not a good stay.
Extremely noisy. A.C leaked,so the floor was constantly wet. No curtain in the shower,so again the floor got soaked. I know it's not an expensive hotel,but it could definitely use a lick of psin and a general good clean.

Nice hotels with friendly and helpful staffs.
The hotel staff are extremely friendly and even recognise my name (me as a business traveler). The hotel has a quite nicely decorated rooftop bar so sometimes on Friday evening there were music play until quite late.

Cheap but not value for money
I booked my room here without a thorough look at the review. I thought it was gonna be a standard budget hotel, decent service, not much expectation. It turned out worse than my expectation. The bathroom is dirty, pb it's old but the water stained on the toilet seat... yikes. Air-con leaked and made loud noise. I asked if they have a hairdryer, they said they would check with the housemaid. 3 days later, I never had my hairdryer.

The receptionist has no professional hospitality. I paid my bill in advance when arrived on the first day. Then, I wanted to extend one more night. I told to receptionist through the phone and she asked me to go to the the front desk to pay. Then, I answered I would pay when I'm gonna grab dinner. I was busy all day, so I took a nap. While sleeping, they called me again to go over for the payment. I would go out for dinner soon and I would stop by to the reception, that's what I answered. Then, back to sleep. OMG... they called me again for telling the same thing again and again. WTH. I understood 200% what they told and why did they tell me again and again? They bothered my nap. I paid my first two nights already. So, if I have additional bill, I could pay when check out. Not calling me for couple times in two hours. It's annoying. Then, I unplugged the phone and went to pay.

You get what you pay for
Overall, for the price and location, it was a good hotel and the staff really make it better. The pool area and dining are really nice, although more of a plunge pool than a lap pool. Only a couple of issues that soured the stay a little, rooms are tight and no bar fridge, AC took a long time to get cool (never cold) and the room can be a bit noisy, as well as the 2 in 1 soap in the shower that had a funky smell to it..... not sure if this was just our room or is the smell the soap has... But, having said that, we had a good stay and enjoyed being close to all the attractions that Kemang offers.

Unfortunately the bar & pool area were undergoing renovations so was extremely noisy & dusty Mop & bucket were left outside our room when we arrived the room was extremely small Reception staff helpful

Good location and great staff
You pay what you get first of all . Room tiny and not so clean . Worn sheets and towels . AC very noisy . Breakfast very limited . Facilities totally outdated and need total refreshing . This said the staff was really good and attentive . Hotel location is great with Lotte mart right in front but if there is a next time I'd rather stay at Amaris across the street . Was not easy to find good food close by unless indonesian food . Still have to walk about 10 - 15 minutes .

Very nice--could be great with a few tweaks
Overall very nice and I'm glad I chose it. Great location and pleasant and attentive staff. A few changes and this could be an A+ location. Needs a bit of rehab (hallway carpets very stained). TV channels are very limited--no Fox or CNN or Aussie network. My AC unit was very noisy--but it kept me cool. Breakfast buffet was good but not great. Overall, very good value for the money. I'll return.

Perfect choice
I've stayed here before when in Jakarta and I'll stay here again. Friendly staff, great room. It's not a huge room but for the price very fair. Great location with delicious street food right on the corner and across the street from a grocery store. I like it here a lot!

You Get What You Pay For
I needed somewhere to be alone and the Fave was good for the price. The room was simple but comfortable enough. No view, shoddy wifi and a very small room made it good only for sleeping after a day out and about in Kemang, but thankfully that was all I needed anyway.

Nice budget hotel in touristy Kemang. Friendly staff, Standard Rooms could be bigger. However if your a walker like me I did not mind the area, but there is no sidewalks and some points you really need to watch your steps along the broken pavement and traffic.

A pleasant experience
I stayed in the Favhotel last year so knew what to expect. It is a well run cheap value for money hotel which I would book again. On the downside the breakfast is not good value although the room service meal was good. The rooms are Spartan but the bed very comfortable, you get what you pay for. The staff were excellent both helpful and polite.

The Hotel is wonderful, very clean and convenient for tourists. Across the street is a super market you can a lot of goods there it is really good.

Good location and good value.
The supermarket across the road has an eatery with better options than the hotel, and there are great restaurants in the area. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were young but keen to please. Breakfast buffet is OK, has vegetarian options. I would stay there again.

Good decent local hotel at Kemang area
Relatively convenient as there is a lotte supermarket just opposite (Amaris hotel). Walking distance to Liberica cafe and some pubs and restaurants. It is a good alternative in terms of distance and location to the pricier Grand Kemang hotel. We didn't choose Pop Hotel further up Kemang as that stretch is more prone to flooding. Anyway, no complaints for the price. We don't like the breakfast though but can always skip this to go to the round the corner Liberica Cafe.

Worth every penny
The hotel was a straight-forward value for money businessman's hotel. It provided all the essentials - a good comfortable bed, desk (a bit small but workable) with a 3-prong power point - a very thoughtful gesture for Singaporeans. But you still need the 2-pin one for the bedside powerpoint. Bathroom is of a very decent size and "wardrobe", shelving unit cleverly designed. No refrigerator though.Nice to have water dispenser on every floor with hot/cold options in case you want a cup noodles. Breakfast is sad, saved only by egg station though restaurant is not bad, the Tom Yam Goong was close to the real thing, lots of fresh juices to choose from.Otherwise, Starbucks and Shinytea across the road. Other options elsewhere. Lobby has comfortable sofas for waiting. Staff are very good - friendly, helpful and responsive. Massage service is worthwhile. Had one on arrival and had a good night's sleep.

We liked the hotel for its simplicity. The room was small though well designed and the bathroom large considering the amount of overall space. The big problem was storage space for the suitcase, specially for 2 large 29" ones. We finally stood them up against the long mirror near the "wardrobe"/shelves/safe. A bit tight for two people to move around at the same time but you get used to it. It's clean, the staff very friendly and helpful,though the pool is tiny more like a large jacuzzi. Water dispensers on every floor are very useful. Room service 24 hours with basic but very doable selection. Breakfast needs improving - it's saved by the omelette chef and fresh fruit. There's Coffee Bean, Shiny Tea and Lotte Supermarket across the road for options. Good for people on business trips.
