New York Escape
The garden themed accommodations were clean and cheerful. There were common areas in the kitchen, living room and sunroom. The sunroom had plenty of space with seating for my family of six whilst overlooking the Hudson and New York skyline. This is where we spent most of our time together in the space.
There were 4 bedrooms but the one on the main floor was absent a door. Overall, the rooms and beds were fresh and comfy. The bathroom had the usual and expected toiletries. The kitchen has a lot of countertops space if you’re the type to cook, and typical range, oven, full fridge, etc.
We had a little perceived problem with the door, being unfamiliar with the way it latched. The gentleman answered immediately and was patient, kind and helpful. Reassured me.
The neighborhood is quiet, slow, a welcome change after a day in NYC. We ate out for all of our meals and such. There’s a pastry shop a few minutes walk away from the flat in Union City that offered fresh baked goods.
This was a really good space for a family!
