“Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. ”

“This is a guest house beside the owner's place. The room was clean and spacious and the weather at the end of March was so comfortable that we didn't have to switch on the AC at night. However, it did get very hot in the day so we opened the windows to let the hot air out. Also, a few very cute and friendly cats also live on the property. Loved the place!”

“The coqui are LOUD! The bed was fairly hard. The shower was tiny with only luke warm water. Alex was a great host, communicated well and even walked to the end of the road and helped us find his place in the dark. If you’re only planning to sleep here it’s ok (be mindful of the first 2 sentences). Otherwise “lounging comfortably” is not an option - bed and 2 dining chairs. Location was good. Not too far away from Volcanoes NP, and near enough to Hilo. ”

Tiene cocina compartida pero eramos los únicos huéspedes entonces tuvimos el privilegio de la casa sola. El dueño vive en la parte de atras en una casita separada. Major concern: No window coverings for the floor-to-ceiling bathtub window or windows above the bed and coffee bar, resulting in serious privacy issues while bathing and sleeping.
