The Front Porch people

This was perfect for our short stay in Key West. We are in the "older" crowd and so enjoyed the front porch... had lots of chats with people walking by. The house was absolutely perfect and lacked for nothing. Also appreciated the extras that were offered. Although we didn't take advantage, the offer of shopping for some groceries prior to our arrival was such a good idea. Maybe next time I'll consider it!!

Fun 2024 Fantasy Fest

We got this house last minute and its on Duval street but far enough away to sleep at night and close enough to be in the excitement 4 mins walking. Great location!

Disappoiting Paradise

The only plus about this prowrty was the pool. The inside had only a couch. Nonliving area to hang out in. The dining area consisted of a broken down table with 2 chairs, even though we had 4 guests. The outside lounge area near pool had a metal off kilter table that wasn't level & only 1 chair had a cushion. Nonumbrella was set up. I skimmed the pool every day. Don't get.me started on the VIP Gentlemen's Club next door with the loud music at all hours & raunchy women.... kitchen fridge door was broken & swung open everytime you went in fridge. Too bad, as a few blocks away were great beaches.

Relocated here for vacation due to hurricane

We were headed to Belize for vacation,but so was hurricane Beryl. We shifted to Key West. This area is very similar to our experience there. We rented a golf cart, and had parking at the house we rented. The property was as described. There are two small bedrooms with en suite small bathrooms. It has a small kitchen and they have placed a couch in the hallway area. Converted from a shotgun doesnt leave room for a den or living space, but we didnt miss it, since we sat outside and/or simply used it as a hotel room. The swimming pool came in very handy to cool off from the heat, throughout the day. There is a vacant lot next door and then a "Gentlemens Club". We were told by the locals this is not a simple strip club, but much more. We didn't attempt to confirm that information. It didn't bother us, since we weren't interested in that "entertainment", but it did attract "party men" who were loud - hustling the girls late at night/early morning. The front bedroom bore the largest part of the noise from that. Otherwise, the house is walkable to the party scene while itself being in a quiet part of the neighborhood, so it was a shame the one location was placed where it is. We made the best of it and had a great vacation. Definitely got our steps in, and ate at some really good places.

Best Location

The house was everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. Kitchen area, bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable, clean and private. The private pool was very nice. Location on Duval was apparently & thankfully on the quiet end. Excellent French restaurants (Banana Cafe & Frenchie’s) just steps away. Also only a few minutes walk to Southernmost point and beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Accommodations

This place was perfect for our needs. Very clean and comfortable. Living room is a bit small but worked for us since most of our time was spent exploring and having fun around town. Both bedrooms were surprisingly big with nice bathrooms. Kitchen was set up well. A quick trip to publix grocery and we were set for all meals which allowed us to save on eating out. The backyard and pool is very nice and private. Made you feel like you were at your own private resort. The property had a wrap around porch with a wheel chair ramp allowing my Dad to safely access the house. Past trips down to key west were spent in fancy hotels and a resort where there isnt much privacy and too many people. From now on we will be staying here.

Best Location

This property is perfectly located in the heart of the action. Walking distance from the meeting points at the pier for the ocean activities. Walk the 20-25 minutes and save the $40 parking fee. The house was very well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen to make drinks and snacks at the house. The pool was absolutely lovely after a day at the beach. The linens were so fantastic my husband has already ordered them. They were soooo soft. Would definitely stay here again.

Vacation rental

The house was ok. Pictures led us to believe there was an actual living room, which is not the case. There is a small couch just outside the kitchen. The pool was disappointing due to the lack of sunshine due to too many trees.

Perfect location

We have been to Key West and few times and this by far was the best rental we have stayed at! You can walk to anything you need. The inside was very well kept and had all the amenities you needed. The back patio/pool was quiet and secluded while the front porch allowed you to people watch along Duval. Would definitely rent this place again!

Good location

The house is in a good location. There is a very nice backyard with a pool. Inside of the house has two bedrooms and two baths, but not a great area for gathering.

Annual getaway retreat

We had an awesome couples getaway to our favorite spot. The location of this rental is perfect! Right on Duval and walking distance to everything you need. The property is clean, organized, updated and the private pool allows you to enjoy all the more. Bedrooms are separated by kitchen and living space. Both with master bath. Can’t say enough! We will be back!
