Great location
Great location to scope out the area! Nice yard with a great water view for a fire at night…definitely go again. Great to wind down after a lot of driving and touring!

Great Find
We had a blast at this cute little dog friendly home. My favorite part was the view and the amazing outdoor space. Enjoyed the de of kayak and SUP. We went kayaking and SUP at night with a flashlight and had an amazing time. We will stay here again for sure.

Great Lake Cabin
Perfect little lake cabin for the weekend. Nice quiet neighborhood with a beautiful backyard view. Just remember to bring your own coffee.

Cute and cozy cabin on the lake.
My dog and I stayed in the Cottonwood Cabin for three days. It had everything we needed. All we had to bring was food and drink. It was very nicely updated and loved the vibe. It is perfect for a single vacationer or a couple or perhaps a small family who doesn't mind close quarters. This single traveler found it absolutely perfect. I would book it again.

Cottonwood cottage
This place is an absolute hidden gem. Beautiful location and neighbors are friendly. We had friends out for a day of boating and fun. They arrived in absolute amazement!! We will be back several times a year!! Coffee pot didnt work properly but that was nothing compared to the great time. I did think cleaning fee was abit excessive for the size of place and fortunately we clean up after ourselves. Might not charge as much if they didnt use 3 people for a 500 sq ft cottage

Peaceful lake experience
The cottage is exactly as advertised. It's a peaceful lake experience on a quiet cove. The outside property and the lake toys were perfect. The cottage itself was all that you need to enjoy this amazing environment.

Great outdoors but not so much indoors
Spent most time outside due to the horrific stench coming from the refrigerator. Two trips to the store buying cleaning supplies trying to rid the odor but didn’t have much luck. Couldn’t even stay and enjoy the purchased late checkout time due to the smell. The cabin was cute and backyard relaxing, though. So disappointing.

Perfect get away
Small but still plenty of room for two adults, two kids and a dog. Within 10-15 minutes of everything we wanted to do. Kids enjoyed the paddle boats as well as interacting with the geese and ducks. Very close to Hidden Falls Off-Road park. Large yard. Very quiet and relaxing. Only encountered one neighbor and he was super friendly. Will definitely return. Only hiccup was WiFi didn’t work because the router had been unplugged which we didn’t discover until the last day.

Great getaway on the water
Such a cozy little place to reconnect with the family. Loved being on the water and having an outdoor set up to just walk our and sit and enjoy the view and fire pit. Very peaceful. We will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Peaceful Lakefront
My wife and I spent two nights and would liked to have stayed longer. The house was small and the backyard was large. Plenty of room for the two of us inside. Kitchen was well equipped and the view was great from the dining room table and full wall of windows out to the back of the house and the lake front. Large grassy backyard leading down to a large concrete patio along the lake edge. Quiet peaceful cove with lots of waterfowl and Great lake view. Firepit, patio table and swing was where we spent most of our time.

Perfect Lake Getaway
We enjoyed a great mini vacay here with our 2 kids (5 & 2 years old). The paddle boat was nice to have. The large flat backyard was great for them to run around and play. The cabin is small and cozy, and made bedtimes with the kids a little tricky, but it was nice. There is an H‑E‑B in Kingsland which was convenient for a grocery run when we got there. Overall a great stay!

We had an awesome time. We were able to pull our boat right up to the property and have lunch and then back out on the lake for more fishing. The house was clean and yard kept up up. Very reasonable price. We will be back. Thank you.

Lakeside Get Away
Truly a beautiful location and the outside set up did not disappoint - very true to the pictures and description advertised. We would definitely stay again. Our only disappointment was the outside (to include water toys) really needed a seasonal power wash. We had planned on enjoying the paddle boat described/pictured but it was filthy and also appeared to need repair/replacing; truly have the perfect area of the lake to enjoy it and it was very disappointing that it was not useable. But can’t beat the location, price, and overall experience. If you like to fish definitely pack your poles and enjoy fishing off the amazing concrete dock

This is a cute place in a quite location. The home is very small but that is accurate in the photos. The inside was clean and the wall air unit kept it cool. The yard is really big. The cove is a nice size and shallow and safe for kids to swim. Bring water shoes the bottom is very muddy. The big lily pad was a big hit and perfect for that location on the water. The outdoor patios, furniture and peddle boat were in big time need of a good power wash. It didn’t even appear to be attended to pre season which isn’t great considering the outdoor amenities are the attraction to this rental. Also no laundry soap was provided which would have been good to know up front. Overall nice stay and the photos/post is accurate.

Beautiful Cove!!
The house is very well stocked inside and out, and I loved the swings and plenty of outdoor seating options. Easy ladder access to get in and out of the lake and the cove is beautiful - full of turtles, fish, ducks, and very friendly residents/owner neighbors. I didn't take my dog this time, but I love that it's dog friendly and the yard has lots of grass. Hope to go again soon!

Anniversary get away
Nice to get away from City. Small but adequate for the 2 of of us and our dog. Peaceful cove that we could take out the peddle boat and go fishing. Kitchen could use a couple newer skillets &cookie sheet. Spatula, scissors and some hot pads (we cooked the entire time and had to use some washclothes for hot pads). 2 neighborhood dogs are allowed to roam free, which worried us when we saw them chase after another dog being walked and a jogger. But our dog met them on our last day through the fence and they seemed friendly (tails wagging at least). There is a wall unit for heating and cooling that is quite loud. Glad for the heat, though. Had an unexpected cold front come through while there and louvered windows facing lake let it alot of cold air. But they also allowed a beautiful view while sitting at kitchen table.

Sisters Covid trip
Sister and I had to come to this town about 1 1/2 hrs from home to get our vaccine so we decided to make a week of it. This is a nice little get away place was perfect for 2 and we travel each a support dog so was nice they were pet friendly. The check in was super easy and for myself not having stairs was so nice. The 2 beds that we each slept in were comfortable. The bathroom is bigger so did not feel cramped. Kitchen was well stocked. Does need so deep cleaning as cobwebs are in the corners etc but for the most part was clean. Yard needed mowing while we were there, one of the neighbors in the area let’s his 2 big dogs run free that came at us a couple times when we had our 10lb fur babies outside so that made us very nervous. But sitting out by the water was so relaxing I would have booked another 5 days if it was available. If you are bringing a boat the cove isn’t very deep and has a moss problem right now but LBJ is a constant level lake so I know the coves are dredging for boats.

Spring break lake victory!!!
We loved our stay at the lake house! The house was small but had everything we need to have a great vacation. My kids loved how close we were to the lake and the available paddle boards and boat. Eating dinner by the fire pit right off the lake was sooo relaxing. Check in was easy. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!!!
