“De los 4 lugares que nos hospedamos en Japón este fue el de la habitación más grande, era un mini departamento con muchas comodidades, nos entregaban toallas limpia todos los dias (incluso tuvimos que pedir que no nos entregaran más jaja). El auto check in bastante rápido. El único pero, y por lo cual no le pongo 5 estrellas es por que es demasiado friooooo!!!! “Beautiful traditional machiya very close to transit and walkable to many places. Laundry on the corner and grocery around the block. The stairs to the second floor were quite steep and the first floor could have used some more furniture, but really no real complaints ”

“We had a fantastic time here. Our host greeted us upon arrival and asked if we would like to participate in an authentic tea ceremony. We got dressed in provided outfits, and the kids loved making matcha tea with the host. We loved the two levels, the indoor and outdoor baths, and the washing machine (kids use up a lot of clothes). “It was our family’s first time staying at a machiya. It was an easy place to find upon arrival in Kyoto. The house was lovely. The tea ceremony at check-in along with the Japanese sweets were much appreciated. They were able to help us arrange for delivery of our luggage onwards to our next city.
