Boutique hotel in chaweng
Cute boutique hotel with a couple of pools and on beautiful Chaweng beach. Convenient location. My sea view suite was on first floor so it’s really pool view with slight sea view. Room was large. The pool gets noisy with families and children. Checkin was total chaos taking over 40 min as there was one receptionist and a large family ahead. Food was decent. Also the hotel guests all put down towels on the beach chaises very early like 8am . The hotel is convenient. Also a nice sunrise

Very nice hotel with pool area and beach. My only real negative would be that the walls to the rooms are thin so you can hear next doors tv when they have it on.

Only stayed there for one night. Would recommend to go with a bungalow or villa if so stay there longer as the rooms are small. Nice place though, well taken care of, super friendly staff, good breakfast buffet and right on the beach. Overall a great value proposition.

Best of our Samui hotels
Small, modern and well designed, We enjoyed that place more then we expected! We especially appreciated it when we spent 2 more weeks in other two higher range hotels, and visited couple more while choosing next spot. After our stay, we definitely would’ve choose LaVida over some other 5 star hotels on Samui where we ended up, too bad we didn’t book more nights in advance, willing to explore. Located on one of the best beaches, hotel is small and easy to walk around, breakfast was excellent, where quality dominate quantity and caters to all tastes. Every room has Nespresso machines with good coffee and tea supply in the room, strong internet connection, and SmartTv. Kayaks and paddle boards at the beach. I did mention it, because these basic commodities were still non-present in some other 5* hotels, that was a surprise. The rooms are on smaller range but very functional. Soundproof is not the best, so you might hear some very noisy neighbours, but it didn’t bother us too much. It is a very quiet hotel but still kind of close to the party-sector of Samui when you go left while exiting hotel, and classier areas are to your right while exiting. Staff is very nice and professional. Nice & clean massage place on the right from the exit. Thank you, La Visa!

Excellent new resort with beautiful pool and beach
Excellent new resort in Samui. Well located few blocks from where the Chaweng action starts but still very quiet and private. Well appointed room with very comfortable bed. Nespresso machine in the room. They provide quality beach towels every day in the room with two handy beach bags. The grounds are amazing. Beautiful pool and lounge chairs, both by the pool and at the beach. The ground keeping staff does a great job of keeping everything pristine (including the beach). Plenty of lounge chairs, no need to fight for one or "reserve" like in other resorts. Paddle boards and kayaks available for guests at no extra cost. The staff is delightful and always service with a smile. Breakfast very complete with egg station and espresso coffee machine. Highly recommended.

Service could be better
The hotel itself is very nice. Great location. Quiet. My only issue was with the service. Our room smelled strongly of sewage. We spoke to the front desk. Both very nice ladies but it was clear they didn’t want to change our room. Said they would have the housekeeper do something to help. Ok fine. We left for the day and coming back it was fine for a bit then later in the night it came back again. With 1 night left we figured we’d just deal with it. Walking around at night, it seemed to be that whole area having a strong sewage smell. We get it. Islands have these issues sometimes. The bartender - was in some kind of bad mood. My partner asked for a menu and she gave this nasty face as though it was difficult to hand over a menu. Whatever. Maybe she had a bad day. Lastly, the day we check out I asked if they could call a taxi for us. Instead of saying yes, we were told to walk a little out and find on our own. What? The hotel is in a quiet area so finding a taxi that early is a bit difficult. I politely asked again do you have a number I can call then. Finally she said ok I can call one. So why not call one when I initially asked? Just these small things turned me off to this hotel. We don’t ask for much and always tipped our server and even the rude bartender. Otherwise the grounds were very nice and relaxing.

Great Hotel with Friendly Staff
We had a great stay at La Vida Samui. All correspondence for taxi transfer in advance was replied to very fast, and everything went smoothly. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and we had a very cozy stay. The facilities were well maintained, the pool was great, and the room was also very nice.

Absolutely beautiful
This hotel is amazing, new and clean. The location is right on the beach on the quieter end of Chewang beach. The deluxe room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. Staff were all lovely. Breakfast was amazing. For us it was the best hotel, we stayed in 4 other places. It’s a 10/10 for us

It was new and clean. However, the staff need more training as they were pretty amateurish which was not what was expected especially for the price we paid. I consider this is the management fault as not enough interest taken by them, especially chefs to ensure it worked like a well oiled machine. Staff were very pleasant, but let standards drop at times - again this is the fault of the management and not checking what they are doing.

This Hotel just opened and we were part of the lucky few to score accommodation during the busy December period in this new, up and coming gem on the Island. The room were clean and modern, the bed was comfy, there was a beautiful pool and the Staff couldn't be more friendly, polite & helpful. We had an issue with our water temperature, but in no time the staff came to the rescue and made up for the issue in the best way possible! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody visiting the island, the location is amazing and each room is worth every penny! The only suggestions I have for this hotel is to increase your breakfast selection and in house hotel dining options

2度目のサムイ旅行でした。私たちは3泊しました。 ホテルスタッフの対応は素晴らしく、部屋も綺麗でした。 プールも綺麗で、ビーチではカヤックが無料でレンタルでき楽しめました。隣接するマッサージ店がランドリーサービスもやっているので、便利でした。 1点だけ気になったのは、朝食のブッフェサラダの具材のほぼ全てにコバエがたかっており、食べる気になれませんでした。 近くに置いてあったサーモンにはネットがかけられていたので、同様にラップかネットをかけた方がよいと思います。

Nybyggt och snyggt hotell precis vid stranden, fint poolområde. Bra service, enda var lite brist på engelsktalande personal vid resturang/poolen, bättre i receptionen. Saknade en större bredd på frukosten ex mer yoghurt och tillbehör till det samt pålägg. Vi är väldigt nöjda över vår vistelse hos la vida och skulle kunna rekommendera det vidare.

The room is a bit small but very clean... however, the sound prof is not good at all.. you can hear exactly what the guests in the next room talks or go to toilet ... ppl who are sensitive to sounds may get affected easily.

11 netter på et nytt og nydelig hotell. Plassert nord på Chaweng, Koh Samuis beste strand. Forholdsvis lite hotell med 49 rom. Men gjennomført hyggelig, arkitetonisk flott, veldig hyggelig stab, og ellers utrolig fint. Vi kommer igjen❗
