The Little House
This property was good for my wife and I. Everything we needed was available. The location is good with a lovely stroll along the water into the town centre. Parking outside on the road was not ideal and it was our 3rd day before we could park directly outside of the house. Only downside was the based bedroom, this is not suitable for use. It is noisy due to hum of fans and dehumidifer that was needed to keep the damp smell down. Great house if you are looking for one bedroom.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Maison. The house is in a great location for walking into town and we only used the car to drive over to the Ile de Ré. Lots of green areas in close proximity to walk the dog as well as the sunny and secure garden at the back of the house which was also dog friendly.

Fantastic house for family & our dog! My teenage son enjoyed the privacy of the basement bedroom. Our dog loved the garden & we got up every morning & walked her in the wooden area at the end of the road by the Casion & then the park (off lead). Easy walk to the Old Town with lots of restaurants. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Good old fashioned conversing with French owner Michele lots of actions & smiles as my French is very poor. Definitely recommend for a chilled holiday playing lots of board games in the garden drinking good French wine 🍷 Merci

Lovely Little House
Very nice house, living room is larger than it looks on photos. Garden was ideal for our little dog. Owner was very friendly and prompt. Very close to town centre, 10 min walk, and it's a lovely walk, either down along the waterfront or along the grassed centre parade. La Rochelle is full of lovely bars/restaurants (all dog friendly) and loads of shops - especially ladies fashion shops. Everywhere we ate they spoke good English. We went a boat day trip to the i'le d'aix, a very small pretty island, we also saw Fort Bouyard on the journey. The Casino is just 2 mins walk and is a great place for a drink, there's a separate bar area and a restaurant, and a outside terrace overlooking the harbour, you don't have to dress fancy (we wore jeans and trainers) and dogs are welcome inside. Remember to take your own bedding and towels. I believe it is normal for these not to be provided in France. There were a mattress protectors, a quilted throw, a very long pillow, and some blankets, but you definitely need to take your own sheets (I took all our own bedding including quilt and pillows just in case). There is wifi in the house as well. Overall a very nice place in a very good location!

Great location, good condition.
The property was in a good location. Communication was very good although it was occasionally difficult given to the couple not speaking English fully. They were very patient despite our delayed arrival. We loved our stay at the place.

Très jolie petite maison
Nous avons passés une excellente semaine dans cette jolie petite maison. Elle est très agréable, très mignonne et le jardin un vrai plus. Très bien située également, possibilité de tout faire à pieds si vous restez sur la Rochelle, la plage à 3 minutes à pieds et la ville 10/15 minutes. Nous n'avons pas eu de difficultés pour nous garer dans la rue. Le propriétaire est très sympathique. Nous y avons sejourné en couple avec un petit chien, donc nous étions très confort niveau M2.

Très agréable pour deux
Maison agréable, très bien placée pour visiter la Rochelle à pied, bien équipée, pratique avec un petit chien. Nous avons apprécié le climatiseur. Mais il vaut mieux ne pas avoir besoin de la chambre en sous sol, humide et sombre, et celle du rdc, donnant sur une rue passante, est un peu bruyante et chaude.

une chambre dans une cave humide et bruyante ! un convertible non exploitable car sous des velux sans store, pas de bac pour les déchets ménagers. Des toiles d'araignées partout, aucun nettoyage , même le lave vaisselle lave gras .des propriétaires qui ne répondent pas aux sollicitations . Le grand confort promis n'est pas au rendez vous . Inacceptable, seul le prix est grand confort.

Agréable semaine à La Rochelle entre amis
Nous avons réservé ce logement entre amis et ce pour une semaine dans le but de découvrir La Rochelle et ses environs. Le logement est idéalement situé, près de la plage et du centre ville. Nous y avons séjourné a 5 et cela était très bien. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil. Je recommande ce logement avec grand plaisir. 😊

Maison agréable, bien placée commerces et parcs proches petits soucis pas assez de vaisselle pour 5 occupants, la chambre en sous-sol est très humide et bruyante à cause de la vmc. Sinon c'est parfait sauf si les derniers occupants ne laissent pas les lieux propres oublient de vider la machine à café et la vaisselle pas très propre

Gîte bien agréable et bien placé
Petite maison idéalement placée, 15 mn de marche le long de la plage où au travers du parc, et nous étions au vieux port. Nos 2 chiens pouvaient rester de temps à autre sans problèmes seuls, car jardin bien clotûré par mur de bonne hauteur, et nous pouvions laisser la porte-fenêtre ouverte afin qu'ils piuissent se mettre au frais. Nous avons préféré dormir sur le clic-clac dans le salon, car dormant la fenêtre ouverte, dans la chambre à coucher nos n'avions pas la paix car les chiens réagissaient par des aboiements chaque fois que passaient des personnes (surtout le week-end de la Pentecôte oú beaucoup de jeunes étaient bruyants même bien après 2h de la nuit). Par la suite c'était OK! Sinon, descriptif conforme à la réalité. Les matelas (Lit et clic-clac) supers. Avons passés un très bon séjour. Merci à M.Sopena pour les bons conseils de visite sur l'île de Ré avec les chiens et les plages accessibles avec eux. Gîte à recommander.

Emplacement parfait
Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut dans la maison, la literie est confortable, la clim réversible procure une chaleur douce et le poêle à bois est très agréable pour les longues soirées d’hiver… Emplacement privilégié non loin de la belle promenade le long de la mer qui rejoint le vieux port et à deux pas du casino. Je recommande cette location sans hésiter.
