Good hotel option for Eunice, LA

Probably the best best option for hotel in Eunice. A typical Holiday Inn property. Beds were comfortable. Staff was nice. No complaints.

One of the better hotels in the area, many different fast food, restaurants in the area. Clean property inside and out. Sometimes can be noisy with the slamming of the doors people walking in the hallway, as in most hotels, just seems much more louder than most. Still was able to get plenty of rest!

booked through expedia. requested for reduction of stay by 1 night on day 1. property manager was not able to talk to expedia even after multiple attempts. It was more like he was not willing to call back. Besides that, little old property, front desk employees were amazing.

The pool was broken which is one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The AC unit in the room wasn’t working and no other rooms were available so I had to stay in a warm and humid room. There was pink mold growing in the shower. The lights on the wall didn’t work and the extension cords running everywhere were unnecessary. The refrigerator was missing a leg and falling over. This stay was very disappointing! The only positive… The breakfast area was nice and the food was good.

I want to start by saying that the employees here were fantastic—they went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth as possible. Their effort was truly appreciated! However, the hotel itself was a different story. We originally booked a king suite through Hotels.com, but upon arrival, we were informed that none were actually available, leaving us with only a double queen as an option. We accepted the change and headed up to the third floor via an elevator that sounded like it had maybe two weeks left to live. After hauling all of our belongings up and unpacking, we discovered that our door didn’t fully close or lock. When we brought it to the front desk’s attention, we were told it was a known issue with that room. The only solution? Moving again—this time to the only remaining room on the first floor. Since we were on a tight schedule, the whole process felt rushed and frustrating. When we finally settled into the new room, we realized there were no towels. On top of that, the walls were paper-thin—we could hear every person coming and going through the hotel. Later, we went out to eat and stored our leftovers in the mini-fridge, only to be woken up in the middle of the night by a horrible noise. Turns out, the fridge was broken, and our food was ruined. Add to that weak water pressure, peeling carpet, and an overall lack of upkeep, and it made for a pretty disappointing stay.
