The location was what we expected, however the house was not. Laguna Beach was the final destination of our 12-day vacation in Southern CA, for 6 adults. Given the pictures, we were all looking forward to enjoying this beach house for our final 3 nights. What a disappointment. In fact, we all chose to cut our vacation short and leave a day early.The nicely pictured balcony was what we thought we were getting. What we got was splintered plywood with no furnishings. (If allowed, I will upload a photo of what it actually looks like.) Apparently, this construction was not new, because when we opened the balcony door, a swarm of ants and termites came in. Why this picture is still up on their website, and why this was never disclosed to us is ridiculous and rises to false advertising. Even being just steps from the beach and having beautiful sunsets, the negativities of the house were a distraction. Image if the weather did not cooperate and you were stuck in this house.There were a few upgrades, but this is an older home with a closed floorplan, no AC, and issues with the windows, doors & patio. We did receive a 1-day refund for our early departure, but this does not compensate for the bad experience.
