Comfortable place to stay with children.Posted Oct 8, 2015
Pros: Having a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, dishes so we could make quick meals and be on the go. Parking was so easy which was wonderful.
Cons: Elevator did not work on our last day.
Location: Walking distance to the Country Music Festival and the strip-Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM, New York New York and several others.
Wonderful place to stay with children. I loved being able to make meals in our suite as it saved us time and money. Room was very comfortable!

Next to Hooters Casino/Hotel, Tropicana, and MGM.Posted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: Off the strip but close to everything. It was clean and staff was exceptional.
Cons: The tubs are not easy access to anyone older or with a disability.
Location: Close to Las Vegas Strip and easy access to restaurants/casinos.
Safe and secure walking back and forth to Hooters Casino and SECURITY visible on Desert Rose during evening hours. Was happy with the value for the money spent, very cozy.

Budget family hotel just off the strip, with poolPosted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: Most things
Cons: Signage of how to get around the complex. Larger convenience store in-house that stocks more of the basics (like milk, juice).
Location: 10 mins walk from the strip.
Comfortable and affordable, non-gaming hotel.10 mins walk from the MGM Grand and the start of the strip. Great pool, large rooms, good facilities. No supermarket or places to eat close by - need to go to the strip for that. Small convenience store (really just a few essentials) in the hotel.

Close to strip.Posted Oct 1, 2015
Cons: Room updated.
Location: Goodlocation. Near everything.
A little noisey at night due to traffic. I prefer not staying in casinos due to noise and number of people. Room was clean and staff friendly. Room does need updating.

Vegas 2015Posted Oct 1, 2015
Pros: staff, separate bedrooms, 2 baths, 3 TV's, kitchen
Cons: No room in the bathrooms for storage of cosmetics, etc. No counter space.
Location: Close to MGM and New York, New York hotels. About a block off strip
We were overall very happy. This is the second time we stayed at the Desert Rose. It is nice having a hotel without slots everywhere. But very close to all the action. We had a couple issues ie plugged sink, etc. but the staff took care of it immediately. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The pool was great with the 100+ temp we had. I would definitely stay there again.

Pleasantly surprisedPosted Oct 1, 2015
We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and would recommend it. The rooms were comfortable, well equipped, clean and spacious. The pool area was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking and it was handy for days out to Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, shopping outlets etc and also for the airport. It was a short walk of approximately ten minutes to The Strip but was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. I would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable hidden gem and near the stripPosted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: Close to the strip, walking distance to Tropicana and Excalibur. Ample parking and accommodating staff.
Cons: Update the paint colors. Although it seemed fresh, the style is a little dated.
Location: Close to the strip and walkable.
We stayed at the hotel as it was going to be near the wedding we were attending. It is a resort time share style place so it does not have the hustle and bustle of a casino. Quiet and comfortable is the best description. Parking was ample and not a 4 mile walk through a casino to the front desk. Rooms have a full kitchen and couch with a chaise for relaxing. A table with 4 chairs makes planning your day easy. The staff was very friendly and seems to try to accommodate any request if able. We would stay here again.

Close to StripPosted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: Fantastic pool, only one street away from the strip. No pokies or gambling so don't feel guilty staying here and having to gamble.
Cons: Bring back the fantastic breakfast and 5 o'clock happy hour.
Location: Very close to everything without being on the strip.
Great hotel, 2nd time that we have stayed here. Great place for families with big suites and a great kitchen.
