Perfect alternative to strip and NO resort fee!

Posted Jun 26, 2017
Location: There are two brew pubs in walking distance. Across the street the food is OK. Further down the street food is better.
Staying on the Las Vegas Strip can be fun for a vacation but for business trips, there is much to dislike. You walk forever through casinos to your room, there are no reasonably-priced restaurants, in-room coffee makers are mysteriously absent, and they charge you ridiculous resort fees for "amenities" you don't use! For a long time I have been searching for an alternative and finally found it! This La Quinta Inn is very new, has outstandingly polite staff, a swimming pool, and even offers complimentary breakfast. And did I mention NO resort fees?? Finally a "normal" hotel to stay at in Vegas. Safe neighborhood too.

Parking issues

Posted Jun 25, 2017
Pros: Room was clean and nice.
Cons: Charge correctly and warn on construction before booking.
Location: Red Rock
Arrived at hotel and discovered they were redoing parking lot. no warning, and so only 50% parking available. And then to top that off - they charged my visa for room when it was prepaid. Last time I use La Quenta.

The "Quiet" of Las Vegas

Posted Jun 8, 2017
Pros: the breakfast was excellent!
Cons: I had to purchase a hairdryer. None provided in the room.
Location: Easy access to the highway for our trips to Zion and Red Rock Canyon. Close for gas and shopping.
My mother and I traveled to Vegas for a family wedding. I chose to stay away from the "excitement" of the Strip mainly for her. The hotel was quiet and the staff was excellent. The wonderful breakfast started our day off perfectly. Easy access to the highway to travel to the wedding venue and sightseeing.

Cons: Softer pillows
Room was updated, bed was very comfortable and internet was fast. Being able to stay with our dog is a must for us.

Ok hotel, but too expensive for what it is

Hotel was under some construction. Best thing was very nice hotel staff & breakfast buffet offerings were decent. Hotel was clean, but it was too expensive for what it was
