Nice place, and relatively close to the strip

Very pretty grounds throughout the entire complex, and was gated with a 24 hour gate guard. Very nice room, with a fully stocked kitchen, living area with big screen and DVD player, and a nice master suite with a Jacuzzi tub. There was limited floor space for all of the furniture in the bedroom and living area, so at times it seemed a little cramped. The jets for the Jacuzzi were not working, which was kind of a bummer. Overall, would recommend!

Family Comfort in Las Vegas

Location: Flamingo Road is main access road to Las Vegas Blvd and Hwy 15. Ideal for families wanting to experience the strip, and explore NV & AZ,
Location was great. Accessiblility to the strip by car and shuttle (although frequency of shuttle somewhat limiting) was easy and we were only minutes away by car from Hwy 15. Facility and amenities were good. Unit was perfect for family of four and we made use of pool, gym, mini golf, pool table, ping pong table etc. Even though resort older, upgrades have been undertaken. Biggest drawback: cleanliness and housekeeping. We were there for nine days and only had one linen change on bedding. Towels and garbage were taken care of 3-4 times only. Granted we did not reach out to management, every day expecting to come back to unit that was cleaned. Most telling, having spilled water on kitchen floor, towel was black when spill was mopped up - and this was on second day of visit. There are lots of maintenance staff visible, but would highly recommend increase frequency of and training in cleaning rather than just tidying. Rating would be 4.5+ otherwise.....

Pros: Location. Amenities.
Cons: Maybe provide a shuttle to downtown.
It was great. The room was perfect. Location was just right. Parking convenient. The complex was safe.

Was getting a daily room charge. No room cleaning

We got no room cleaning. We was told was only for resort owners. But paid a resort fee. Pool wasn't as advertised.

Westgate Flamingo Bay Resort review April 2017

Cons: Daybeds by pool are quite nice. Lounge chairs could be more comfortable as they should have a cushion.
Visited Las Vegas April 17 - April 22. I have stayed at Westgate properties in FL and they are great. We had the deluxe single bedroom villa and it is more than enough space for my wife and I. We were greeted upon arrival by the friendly staff and were able to check in early. The room was immaculate and all furniture, appliances, dishware were up to date and well maintained. The grounds are well maintained. There are nice walking paths with flowers, palm trees throughout the property. Small fitness are next to the pool with nice equipment. Pool are was quiet during the day. There is a fireplace in the room which was very nice. Large two person Jacuzzi is in the separate master bedroom. Hotel is about 10 minute drive from the Las Vegas strip. There are supermarkets, convenience stores and places to eat within a short drive of the facilities. There is Hotel provided transportation to the strip, but I like having my own car. My wife and I would stay here again.

Find another place...quick!

King size bed had a bad low spot in the middle so that no matter what, you always ended up sleeping in the middle of the bed! Also, we stayed there for a whole week and the room was only cleaned one time. I had to ask the maid to please clean the bathroom mirror so that I could see to shave.

Westgate was a very nice place to stay,the grounds was very nice everything looked great but the furnishings in the condos were a little old an out dated

Not enough activities

Wasn't helpful when it came to having a minor issue with the type of room that was given. This is someone where I currently own a Timeshare. This location is making me take actions to SELL my Timeshare.

Close to the Vegas Strip

Pros: I liked the amenities this hotel had to offer.
Cons: They should make sure that all rooms are cleaned, bed made, etc. each day. Be accountable when there is an issues rather then make excuses.
Location: I like the location of the hotel, it's close enough to the Vegas Strip and other attractions and yet far enough away from the crowds.
I found the staff was friendly and the room was nice. The only problem I had was the last day we were there the room was never cleaned, the bed wasn't made, there was no toilet paper, and the garbage was overflowing. After a full day of sight seeing we got back to our room at 10:30 pm to walk into a pig sty! The next morning when we checked out I expressed my concerns at the front desk and all we heard was excuses...because it's a time share most people like to bring their own toiletries, the rooms are cleaned upon request so that they can keep the maintenance fees lower for the owners. A simple apology would have worked for me but the excuses I received just had me leaving disappointed. This is why I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a friend.
