The front desk staff attempted to collect money for our reservation even though we'd paid Expedia and had a receipt showing paid in full. There was to be a small amount due at the hotel, ($29CHF), but they tried for $289CHF saying that, "Expedia hadn't paid them yet." Then they gave us a downgrade on our room, and had it not been for my cousins whom we were traveling with we would have been stuck. They eventually gave us the room we had booked. The breakfast was okay, (just barely), but watch the eggs as they are raw, not hard boiled. The facilities are dated and run down. It feels like owner/management is wanting to invest as little as possible to renovate. The only saving grace is the view, (which is spectacular), but so it is from any other hotel in town. We would not return to this hotel even though we plan to re-visit Mürren in the near future.

You can do better for a little more
Positives: Great location, Amazing Balcony View, Heating, Breakfast was great, Friendly bar staff, good wifi Negatives: Hotels.com and Hotel Regina charged me for the room, even after showing proof of payment. Very kid friendly, so kids running around the floor and the shared balconies. Paper thin walls so you hear everything, Kids playing with the lights while using the single restroom on the floor.

Loved Murren!
We loved Murren! Breakfast was really good, Jew was spectacular from the dining room! We knew we had a shared bathroom and that wasn't an issue. We had 2 single beds which wasn't a huge deal but they weren't comfortable, you could feel the buttons on the mattress. Didnt sleep well for the 2 night we were there. Door locks were very noisy. Front staff wasn't super friendly and didn't go over anything about the hotel. Overall we loved Murren!

For the coming off-season time, we have planned renovation works, in order to provide more comfort for our guests, while still keeping up the historic authenticity. Regarding the breakfast, we have made sure that there is a wide variety, 3-4 kinds of cheeses, a minimum of three kinds of meats; everyday, there is different bread on the buffet, and there are classic yoghurts, jams, honey and juices available. Fantastic hotel!
This hotel was a total highlight for my kids and for me. The views were unreal, the staff was friendly and super helpful, definitely one of the best hotel experiences we've had in Switzerland. Can't wait to go back!

Don't suffer at this hotel...
This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I am middle-aged. It absolutely ruined our experience of beautiful Muerren. I had made a 2-night reservation at this hotel from the US expecting that this would be a semi-decent hotel given that it charged as much as an average 5-star hotel in the US. After this experience I felt I had been successfully robbed by hotel management. FIrst of all, I never noticed the fine print on the reservation indicating that the bath was shared. In fact, it was not just the bath but the toilet as well and by an entire floor of the hotel. During our stay we also learned from hotel staff do not clean the rooms after check-in regardless of how long you stay, and our floors were dirty. I had reserved three beds with "panoramic view" for my family of three, but we were given two beds. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, with weak, spongy mattresses that shook like jelly when you turned over so neither I nor my wife were able to sleep for two nights despite being tired. There was a balcony, but its rotting wood floor was falling apart. The included breakfast was very limited --squeeze your own juice, boil your own eggs, and the cheese was stale, Some customers had brought their dogs inside the breakfast area. I could not get out of my hotel reservation as I was past Expedia's deadline to cancel. If it wasn't so expensive I might have taken the hit and gone somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and skip this one...I wish I could have...

Dear Guest It is with great regrets that you left our hotel with such feelings. None the less we appreciate your feedback. First of all, a new manager has taken over this summer season and he is taking every effort to raise funds for the urgently needed refurbishments while keeping the business running. Comparing US prices with CH prices is, in that context, rather difficult. Regarding the reservation, we made sure it is clearly written everywhere that most of our rooms come with shared bathrooms - of course there are rooms with private baths, which are also available. A cleaning could have been arranged to exchange towels or clean the floor, a stop by the reception is all that's needed. About the quality of our mattresses, we are very sorry to hear that you did not find your sleep. Within the coming off-season-time, the hotel will carry out some renovation works. Concerning the breakfast, what could we have done better, in order to meet your expectations? The provided egg boiling machine gives the opportunity to our guests to boil the eggs to their liking, rather than just putting one kind of boilt egg onto the buffet. Most of our guests greatly appreciate this, as well as the fun of preparing their freshly squeezed orange juice. We are again very sorry for all inconveniences you have encountered. Best regards

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. But they made no effort to get the room cooled down before we arrived. Sun was pouring in windows closed and there is no air conditioning. Which means blisteringly hot till way past midnight Also NOT close to airport as advertised. $50 cab ride

Charming historic hotel in Mürren with great view
Great old historic hotel with a magnificent view of the most beautiful mountains on earth (in my humble opinion, and I've seen a lot of mountains). Rooms are decent size, and clean, but old and have not been renovated. Shared bath is a bit of a drag, but the view and location makes it worth the hassle.

A historical hotel with good scenes of Eiger-Mönch-Jungfrau mountain from terrace. Full Swiss breakfast in the morning. Easy to reach from Mürren station and Schilthorn station. Remarkable!! It doesn't have in-room bath and toilet.

Hotel dates from 1895
The hotel was built more than a century ago and most of it has not been updated. The beds were relatively new and comfortable, but you have to expect a bit of an experience in a place this old. It's not exactly up to modern standards. Also, the front desk closes at 7pm. Fantastic views though in a quaint, semi-remote village.

Trip to hike in Murren
Hotel was clean and comfortable. We did share a bathroom with others on the floor, but never had issues with too many people trying to use at one time. The view from the room was excellent and noise was minimal. Breakfast was very good.

Nice decent hotel, good location,good staff
Decent hotel located not very far from Murren BLM. Murren is a nice mountain village and a cable car from here takes you to Schilthorn peak and there are nice views from the hotel and village. The breakfast is basic, but manageable. There is a supermarket next to it, which is a good plus. Bathrooms/Toilets are shared and there is one toilet per male/female per floor. It could get busy in rush hour. So that is to watch out for. Nevertheless, bathroom/toilets are well maintained and we did not face too many issues with that.

Basic guest house style hotel over priced
Clean reasonable hotel in beautiful location. Friendly helpful staff. Parking is not free as Expedia had advised. Also no cars allowed to hotel so you need I use a cable car and travel via this or alternatively by train. Parking cost us CHF 7 approx £5 per night stay. Also cable cars cost us €20 return per person. This was expensive but you are staying in a beautiful part of Switzerland. Room had No ensuite something I didn't realise when I booked. For the amount of money paid I feel this is expensive though. An ensuite should be standard. Breakfast was very basic bread cheese Yoghurts and juice/ hot drinks. If you want an egg you have to pay CHF 1.5 which is £1 per egg. I think this was so expensive. We have 2 small children and I felt we had more choice at the local bakery less than 2 mins away. They have croissants and breads and coffee. Generally clean and quiet hotel but I would t stay here again.

酒店位置很好，推窗就是雪山，四周雪山环绕感觉很好，早餐也可以，虽然是公共浴室但是也挺方便，卫生方面有点欠缺，住了3晚房间一次也没有来打扫过，还有浴室的下水有头发丝堵，拉出来后一直堆在角落里，让我怀疑浴室也不是经常打扫

位置一流，景观无敌
房间有阳台，正对少女峰，风光无限好。房间设施就较简单，公共卫浴，不太方便，不过挺干净。前台有几个帅哥美女，态度很好。米伦太漂亮了，虽然交通不便，但是安静、美丽，值得。

Gutes Frühstück mit regionalen und Bio-Produkten. Bettenauswahl (getrennt stehende oder zusammenstellbare Einzelbetten) müsste präzisiert werden können - es ist blöd, wenn man als Paar mit längs hintereinander gestellten Betten vorlieb nehmen müsste. 전반적인 시설은 깨끗하고 좋았으나..
시설자체는 깔끔하고 조식도 맛있고 발코니뷰도 엄청 좋았으나.. 처음 도착했을때 우리가 도착시에는 리셉션 휴식타임이라고 아무도 없어서 30분 기다렸는데, 백인손님이 호텔에 들어오니 바로 리셉션 사람이 나오더라구요. 리셉션 휴식타임이라고 안내해주고 호텔식당으로 안내하는거보고..인종차별 당하는 느낌 살짝 들었습니다. 오후 3시체크인 꼭 시간지켜서 체크인해주더라구요. 오후 1시쯤 도착했고 밖엔 비까지 내리는데 얄짤없습니다. 조식때도 커피머신기 고장나니 계속 기다린 저에겐 기다리라는 얘기뿐..다른 백인에겐 따로 커피 직접 타서 주고..전 결국 그날 조식때 커피 못마셨구요. 대놓고는 아니지만 동양인 차별 은근 있었어요. 표정이나 행동, 친절도에서 느껴져서..기분이 좀 그랬네요. 그런거에 좀 예민하신 분들은 이 호텔 다시 생각해보시길.

또가고 싶은 곳
방안에서 바라보는 전망이 정말 좋습니다~! 날씨가 좋은경우 정말 아름답습니다~! 조식을 드실때도 창문너머로 보이는 멋진 풍경을 보면서 식사하실수 있습니다. 또한 카운터에서 근무하시는 직원분이 매우 친절하십니다. 다시 가도 이곳에서 묵고 싶습니다.

Preis-Leistungsverhältins ist sehr gut. Das Hotel ist schon ziemlich alt, also ist es sehr hellhörig. Frühstück war sehr gut, hat alles was man für ein Frühstück braucht. Ist sehr nah an der Bergbahn von Stichelberg und auch Talstation Mürren.

Das Hotel Regina ist ein altes sehr stilvolles und schönes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, was dem alter des Hauses geschuldet ist. Es ist dennoch sehr schön.

The location couldn't be any better
Great hotel! The manager was very welcoming and accommodating. I was a bit disappointed that the showers were outside the rooms, but the location makes up for it in a heartbeat. The mountains are just outside your bedroom window. The trails literally start from the hotel. You can just pack your stuff and go. It's also close to the supermarket which is fantastic if your traveling on a budget.

뮈렌에 숙박을 잡고자 하신다면 다른 호텔을 잡아도 될 듯 합니다. 뮈렌에 위치한 그 어느 호텔에 숙박해도 이 정도의 경치를 즐길 수 있어요!! 뮈렌에 숙박하기 위해서는 캐리어를 끌고 라우터브루넨에서 케이블카를 타고 산악열차까지 타면서 올라와야 하는 불편함이 있습니다. 그 여정이 좀 피곤하기는 하지만 스위스에서 가장 예쁜 마을을 꼽으라면 저는 뮈렌을 꼽습니다!! 어쨌든 호텔에 대해서 이야기를 하자면 호텔스 닷컴이 1박에 10만원인가로 환산을 해놓아서 예약을 했더니 호텔 카운터에서 1박에 180프랑을 그 자리에서 결제를 해야한다더군요...거의 더블의 가격인거죠. 혹 예약을 하게 되신다면 꼭 프랑 가격을 확인하고 예약하세요ㅠㅠ 조식은 포함이었는데 그냥 빵이랑 차, 커피 정도 있는 거고요. 그리고 공용욕실입니다...방도 상당히 작고요;; 스위스가 시원한 편이기는 하지만 그래도 에어컨이 없는 건 좀 불편했습니다. 이 가격에 이런 컨디션의 호텔이라면 차라리 다른 호텔 잡으시길...

Ao chegar minha reserva não foi localizada e me hospedaram num quarto diferente do que tinha reservado (gostaria de esclarecimentos da Hotéis.com). O hotel é limpo e bem conservado mas com limitações de um prédio antigo. O ar condicionado faz falta no verão... O café da manhã é ótimo e o restaurante tem uma vista magnífica das montanhas. O sinal de rede sem fio só funciona nas áreas comuns, o que é péssimo... Depois de ter feito a reserva percebi que o acesso ao hotel era só por teleférico, 22CHF/pessoa + estacionamento, 12CHF/dia. Essa mensagem deveria ficar mais explícita.

일단 먼길을 가셔야합니다 뭣도 모르고 예약했다간 큰코 다칩니다ㅠㅠ 여기까지 찾아가느라 정말 개고생하긴 했어요 기차갈아타고 버스타고 케이블카타고 ㅠㅠ 짐많은분들 짧게 숙박하시는분들한텐 비추입니다 ㅠㅜ 그리고 100년 넘은 호텔이라 그런지 아답터 콘센트 돼지코 사용할수있능게 한군데에요 멀티탭 챙겨가세요 ㅠ 저녁 9시 이후론 프론트에 사람없구요 ㅠㅠ 조식 별거없는대 엄청 비쌉니다 ㅠ 화장실이랑 샤워실 분리되었어서 새벽이나 캄캄해지면 무슨 드라큘라 나올구같은 분위기 ㅠㅠ 무서웠어요 근데 경치는 일단 꿀이에요 ㅠㅠ 쉴트호른도 가깝고요 저희는 2틀있었는대 인터라켄까지ㅡ오르락 내리락 힘들었네요 그래도 경치보고 있으면 딱히 융프라우 안가도 될만큼 쫗아써용~ 호텔에서 기차역 방향으로 산책하다보면 싱가폴 음식점이 있는데 진짜 맛나요!!!!

아름다운 마을의 조용한 호텔
객실은 깨끗하고 침구도 깨끗하고 편함. 창문이 열리며, 테라스가 있음(일부 객실). 경관이 뛰어나다. 라우터부룬넨에서 케이블카를 타고 올라가는 "뮈렌"마을에 있다. 아침식사는 부실한 편이지만, 따뜻한 빵이 제공됨. 객실에서 개인적으로 준비한 음식이 취식 가능함. 방에 세면기 있음. 나쁜점은 욕실과 화장실이 각 층에 공용으로 사용됨.

Architektonisches Kleinod in herrlichster Lage
Das Hotel Regina erreichten wir von der Seilbahnstation Mürren aus in wenigen Minuten. Von unserem Zimmer aus bot sich ein überwältigender Blick auf Jungfrau, Eiger und Mönch. Den gleichen Blick hatten wir vom Frühstücksraum, in dem ein hervorragendes Schweizer Frühstück serviert wurde. Erwähnen möchten wir noch die Freundlichkeit des Personals.Dass unser Zimmer nicht über Bad/WC verfügte, ließ sich in den drei Tagen unseres Aufenthalts verschmerzen.
