Sheep graze behind this charming old bergerie, in the grounds of your hospitable Dutch hosts' manor house. Great independence here: a rustic, open kitchen on the covered terrace, and a spacious suite with super-comfortable beds and big bathroom below. Find warm gentle colours, lofty rafters, traditional half-timbered walls and wooden floors; there are armchairs and a sofa by the wood-burning stove and you can order breakfast to be delivered. Visiting the Pays d'Auge and its wonderful and historical villages where you will find the most beautiful cottages and Calvados distilleries with their fresh sparkling cider, as well as Pont l'Evêque and Camembert, homes to the two respective famous cheeses. Farmers' markets, Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville and return to the beautiful, peaceful gardens of the Bergerie. After a long journey you can order a sharing plate with cheese, fruit and charcuterie (24hrs notice) instead of running to a Restaurant. A magical place – guests love it, and children and dogs are very welcome too. Also take a look at our other room in case the Bergerie is fully booked.

Ruheoase im schönen Hinterland der Normannischen Küste
Es hat uns sehr, sehr gut gefallen, der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre der kleine Campingkühlschrank. Da man diese wunderschöne Außenküche hat und dort toll kochen könnte, würde man mit einem richtigen Kühlschrank besser einkaufen können. Der Kühlschrank ist mit Getränken und etwas Frühstück schon voll. Ansonsten bedanken wir uns herzlich bei unseren lieben und immer hilfsbereiten Gastgebern für den schönen Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

La Bergerie est très agréable, très au calme. On est en pleine campagne normande à 35 mn en voiture de Deauville. C'est parfait pour un séjour à deux, de 2-3 jours. Et l'accueil assuré par Hetty est très bien.

Een fantastische woning met alle luxe aanwezig en zeer centraal gelegen voor uitstapjes.
Een warme ontvangst door de gastvrouw met champagne (oud en nieuwperiode). Een niet te vergeten heerlijk ontbijt iedere dag en door de comfortabele bedden zijn wij goed uitgerust. De charmante inrichting geeft een huiselijk gevoel. De woning is zeer centraal gelegen voor uitstapjes. En voor honden is het hier een genot van rust.

Wunderbares Landleben in der Normandie
Bei der Bergerie handelt es sich nicht einfach um eine Ferienwohnung in einer liebevoll restaurierten, historischen Schäferei, sondern um einen herrlichen Ort inmitten eines parkähnlichen Anwesens in der Normandie. Die Besitzer haben einen wunderbaren Ort geschaffen, um wirklich zur Ruhe zu kommen. Im unteren Bereich befindet sich der offene Essplatz und die offene Küche, der Eingangsbereich mit kleinem Kühlschrank und das moderne Duschbad. Küche und Bad sind gut und praktisch ausgestattet, Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden auf Wunsch gewechselt. Im oberen Bereich ein großer runder Tisch, ein Schrank, ein Sofa und das Doppelbett. Alles sehr geschmackvoll ausgesuchte und arrangierte Stücke, die mit dem gesamten Ambiente des Gebäudes harmonieren. Dazu kommt der Blick in den riesigen Garten des Grundstücks, auf dem sich das Bauernhaus der Besitzer im normannischen Fachwerkstil befindet. Der Garten kann von den Gästen mitbenutzt werden, so stehen z.B. zwei Sonnenliegen zur Verfügung. Das ruhige Grundstück ist rundherum von Bäumen und Büschen begrenzt und liegt am Ende einer kleinen Straße. Auf Wunsch wird ein wunderbares und mit viel Liebe zusammengestelltes Frühstück morgens gebracht. Wir haben uns bei den Gastgebern unglaublich wohl gefühlt und man hat eher den Eindruck, dass man zu Freunden kommt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
