Convenient hotel for East Midlands Airport. All expected facilities available, with fast and attentive service in reception, bar and restaurant.

I find the hotel does what it says on the package. However there were 2 things that let the hotel down were:
1 of the lift failed on numerous occations to accept my key card to select my floor. There were 4 people in the lift and none of the key cards worked. A guest said it has been like this for some time
And
Secondly, when i arrived numerous people were smoking in front of the entrance so you had to walk through their cigarette smoke. As there was no ashtray they stubbed out their cigarette on the floor so going out you walk over cigarette stubbs. The management can easily fix both issues

I am pleased to report that the lift issue has now been sorted, our smoking area is the other side of the wall by the entrance, and not in front of it. Our team always try where possible to remind people and direct people to this area away form the path to the front doors.
