“Our family of 5, with 3 adult children enjoyed our stay. House was good and it was a quick walk to the beach on Lake Huron. We traveled to Lakeport park to experience that beach as well but we could have easily only gone to beach by the house.”

“This was our annual girls trip. We have 7 in our group and the Anchor House had plenty of bedrooms and plenty of space. We enjoyed the fire pit and the lovely view. We would definitely stay here again! Location was perfect!”

“This little bungalow was perfect for our family. Edward was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our infant. He provided a crib and highchair for our little one and I couldn’t be more grateful. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of blankets and fans in each room. We will definitely be coming back! ”

“This property was so well stocked, it had everything we needed for our stay. The house was clean and the attention to detail was great. There was even a game room, kept both adults and kids entertained, well worth the extra money. Public beach is right down the road. Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful stay for our extended family. Four generations- from my 86 year old mother to my 3 year old grandson. We all enjoyed the pool and spa. The beds were all comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. The home is well stocked with linens, etc and the kitchen was perfect for making meals together. And the game room is over the top- when the kids weren't in the pool, they were in the game room. Both port Sanilac and Lexington are convenient to the location.”

“The house and cottage are beautifully decorated and up to date. The beach is spacious and not crowded with visitors. The jet spa was clean and in a good location. There are kayaks, a paddle board, beach toys, and beach chairs. ”

“We loved our stay at this comfortable and beautifully decorated cottage. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. Everything we needed was provided. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The only issue we had was that there wasn’t a great view of the lake, yet it was an easy one block walk to the lake and a cute small beach. We’d stay there again, in a heartbeat.”

“This little cottage is so cute and perfect for just two people. It's close to so many local places (Lakeview donut shop was sadly closed and for sale) and walking distance from the water! The hot tub is a nice touch and although its not covered and there's neighbors, it still felt pretty private/relaxing. If you like coffee/tea I highly recommend Lexington Coffee Co and for a good burger and/or good fish and chips, Lakeport Tavern is a must-their service was awesome too!! Id love to return to...
