“It’s a pleasant experience to stay in this B & B. The host Tom is very friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated bedroom with everything I need. There’s a kettle and a few types of tea inside the room, and the breakfast is more than good enough for me. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Knighton. It’s just a small town and so it’s within walking distance to all main attractions.”

“Appearance was very drab, in need of renovation. Very basic furniture, extremely noisy cistern when flushing the loo. Overhead light in the bathroom was full of dead insects etc, wires hanging down from the television. Black mould on the windows. Tea bags not sealed but loose in a plastic container and not fresh.
On a positive note the bed was comfortable and the linen was clean.
The cooked breakfast was very nice.”

“The Three Cocks Hotel was an interesting facility. We arrived at about 6:50 pm, 10 minutes before end of check-in, but there was a note on the counter with the room key for self checkin. Odd process with nobody at the desk, the key to the room left out and no form of security at the front door.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, which we appreciated. A very rustic hotel, with very uneven floors, sagged support beams, rickety wooden front door and door upstairs.
Breakfast was ok, but……
