I realize its an old building, however it definitely needs some structural attention. We had a very good deal and stayed 1 night. The only issues we had were parking, as the pub did not have a car park and most of the nearby streets were residents only so we had to park about 10/15 minutes away. We stayed Friday night so music was fairly loud until 10pm, then stopped at 11pm, so managed to sleep quite well once it stopped. Lastly the room was very warm in the middle of summer without any sort of air conditioning or fan. Overall the room was very clean, in a good location very close to London, near public transport and served its purpose for our stay. Watch your head….low beams and tight staircase… not suitable for persons with mobility issues…. Rugby game days will be very busy, if that’s not your thing then avoid those days… we will definitely stay again.
