“The location is unbeatable.”

“The lighthouse Inn is very convenient to Long Sands, only 10 minute walk to the beach. Has a pool and hot tub on site. The room we had reserved was in the carriage house and was a good size with a full bathroom. The door to the deck was a nice addition with seating. I didn’t realize the room was on the 3rd floor and only accessed by outside stairs which was a challenge with our suitcases as one set was quite narrow. Coming down the stairs from the 3rd floor there is a sharp turn and a big step……

“Mark, at the front desk, was amazing! He took time to explain all the hotel features and even the area, have dining options and tips for exploring the area. He was excellent! The room itself was pristine! Beautiful, so spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing night! Would 100% recommend the Grasshopper Inn to anyone coming to Maine! Loved our stay!”

“The room was recently renovated and was immaculate. The beds and pillows were very good, as was the shower pressure. The chairs were uncomfortable. There needs to be handicapped parking available near the rooms. I would not recommend the Pub. The service was excellent, but the food was subpar.”

“Very easy and pleasant check in. I had trouble logging in to the hotel WiFi and the nice person at check in said she’d call her boss just then, but I told her it wasn’t necessary. The bed was comfy and the sheets were soft, nice pillows and towels, but the air conditioner was distractingly loud, so trying to get to sleep I had to put a pillow over my head. I did let reception know this when I checked out. The shower was strong with plenty of pressure. A little slow to drain even with a short……

“I was pleased overall with the stay. The accommodations and staff were great. Beds were comfortable and the room was well equipped. The only suggestion would be to have dark roast coffee in the room and lobby. Fresh fruit at breakfast. Other than these minor suggestions everything was great! I cannot comment on the pool since it was too cold to be swimming outdoors when we stayed here. It was open and well-maintained that I could see.”
