“Nice place for family vacation. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Lots of nice amenities like bikes, kayaks, s’mores fires nightly, and access offsite to a river pool thing. And the swimming pool on site is very well maintained. The breakfast is very nice with dairy free and gluten-free options. But the blueberry cake takes the cake!”

“I booked two rooms at this facility and was quite disappointed with our overall experience. One of the rooms had three containers of leftover food in the refrigerator when we arrived. We were also charged $3 per day for maid service, yet one of the rooms did not receive any maid service at all, while the service provided for the other room was less than satisfactory. The facility itself was in need of a thorough cleaning. The hallway carpets appeared not to have been vacuumed in quite some……

“Wonderful stay. Very clean rooms super helpful staff. Complementary bicycles were a nice touch to get into town or ride to the beach. Location was great as it was not directly in town but quick bike ride or walk.”

“This was our second stay at the Colony this summer. My husband and I made a stop sans kids and decided to return with our kids after a lovely first stay. We loved that the main building did not have televisions naturally creating a great screen detox and had no issues with the room temperature despite no televisions. We did find it odd that on our second stay there was no handsoap provided, but it wasn't a big deal. The beach is lovely and calm and our kids had a blast fishing on the channel……
