I wanted to resolve this before posting a review but management never replied. I emailed the Inn (7) times since 8/23 and called (4) times. Each time, they said someone would get in touch; they didn't. There were several significant issues with Room 9 where I stayed. ~ Upon opening the door, I was hit with a strong musty smell. I had to leave the bathroom window open and the AC running continuously. Unfortunately, that left the room fairly humid ~ The only two chairs in the room both badly stained and looked gross, as if someone had urinated in the chairs ~ Two hooks, and an exposed nail at eye level remained in the places where paintings were removed, which added to the unkempt appearance of the room. The exposed nail is also dangerous ~ There are several mold spots on the shower ceiling ~ There is mold or mildew in the shower grout ~ The fan in the bathroom rattles loudly ~ The sink dripped constantly ~ The door to my room sticks and is difficult to open ~ The back door to the main house is also very difficult to open ~ There was a chunk of flesh in the shower I asked to switch rooms but none were available. Staff were nice but management didn't care.
