“The staff were wonderful. We went in January and it was not crowded. Every person we interacted( front desk, valet, cleaning ,even the manager walked around to say hi, with was so nice. The food was great the hotel was super clean. Bar drinks were weak but the service was exceptional. Lots of kids on the weekend so maybe do not book a pool room due to noise. The views were wonderful. Staff was always working to do touch ups around the building ( cleaning painting, even the deck/pool/flowers……

“All of the staff were courteous and friendly. The room was extremely clean and had everything a person would need. The water was hot and the pressure was excellent. The towels were soft and way above motel grade. The beach was gorgeous and the pool area was very nice. The adjoining restaurant was very good and extremely convenient.”

“Sky Beach Resort is a little gem in the midst of suburban St Pete. Beautifully renovated and well appointed ted, the star is the beach/ resort area. Multiple seating options on beach and off, two pools (one heated) and a hot tub, lush landscape and easy access to everything you need to escape from the hectic pace of life. Our small but adequate room was sparkling clean, with a fully updated bath. Beds reminded us of the European style- quite firm and slightly shorter than what we are used to……

“This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.”
