    First time ever offered as a vacation rental, second oldest log cabin on the lake with a modern addition set amongst ancient red and white pines that sing when the wind whistles thru their tops. King log bed facing the lake, second bedroom with 2 queen beds, tiny, yet functional kitchen with a stone farmhouse sink, Chilton stone patio ,fire ring, Adirondack chairs, stainless gas grill, Cal Spas hot tub overlooking the lake, standalone bunkhouse for 4 with shower and toilet, gradual elevation to the lake, L shaped dock, sandy gravel shore. Perfect romantic spot for families as well as just a few.

    Rental Includes Pontoon, Paddle Boat, Kyaks, and Bunk House.

The stay was amazing only reason for the 4 stars is because the hot tub didn’t get very warm, the hottest temp was 98F. Very nice place and enjoyed the stay overall.

The rustic cabin mixed with the new cabin was awesome. We spent a lot of time in front of the beautiful fireplace. Made the cabin so cozy.Hot tub was broken but host let us know ahead of time and refunded us for that missing amenity.The value for the price was excellent.We had a wonderful holiday stay with family.

This property was a unique and cool blend of a rustic cabin feel, and modern interior. The original old school cabin is intact as the entrance point/livingroom, then the adjoining new space is the modern expansion where the kitchen and bedrooms are located. Wonderful space. We loved it. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We appreciated the pantry had dry goods that were left behind by others/owners which is great had we needed anything. The paver patio, fire pit, and hot tub area is beautiful and we spent time there everyday/night! We hope to visit this rental again! Thank you!

This place was so comfy cozy... we spent a lot of time by the fireplace and in the hotub. The last day it snowed and the views were amazing.

Property was very clean when we arrived. I sent the owner a question on the Sunday before our stay and he responded in about 1-2 minutes! I didn't expect that. Property was stocked with everything we needed... pots, pans, utensils, glasses etc. I would definatley stay here again. We stayed 4 nights and had a great time!

Great cabin and location

Our family had a wonderful time at this cabin. It's such a beautiful location and convenient to Longville. With that being said you MUST attend the turtle races every Wednesday. Our grand kids had a blast!!! Dan was extremely responsive to our needs and we would definitely book again! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

Quick visit

Stayed for a few days with my Mom. Enjoyed the amenities including Pontoon, fire area and jacuzzi. Dan was great to work with. Would stay again.

It was another wonderful week at the Girl Lake cabin in Longville! Everything worked great and the property had everything our family needed. We hope to be back again in the future.

This property was perfect for our two families, 8 people total. Plenty of space for us to spread out, several bathrooms and adequate outdoor seating. From booking the property to the last day of our stay, communication was great with the owners. We enjoyed the cabin, location and amenities so much we booked next year’s stay prior to leaving! Family/Friend fishing week

House/cabin was comfortable with enough beds for everyone. Kids had their own bunkhouse with full bathroom. Nice updates in the house. Pontoon is a great bonus, as is the hot tub. Enjoyed a cup of coffee in the screen porch overlooking the lake every day!

Great place to relax with family

The property was great - especially with the new additions! Kitchen is good for cooking for a group. Loved the screened porch. Bunk house was great for our young adults. Hot tub and fire pit got a lot of late night use. Lake was good for fishing and water sports. We would definitely stay again.

Great place

The cabin has a great view, pontoon boat, and a nice private hot tub. We had a few small problems, but the communication with the owner was fast and everything worked out fine.

Some friends arrived first and I got a text: this place is awesome! We didn’t use the pontoon, but kayaking was incredible on 10/8/22. The cabin and bunk house were wonderful. The amenities were perfect. This place is a 10/10. I highly recommend!!

Tranquility

Dan Geis was an amazing host. The property was exactly as presented and the cabin was fully furnished with everything we needed. The morning view from the master bedroom was spectacular and the call of the loons at dawn and dusk only added to the tranquility of our stay. We would most definitley want to make a return trip to the Geis cabin in Longville, MN Thanks Dan...
